The Alma is a nice traditional street corner community pub. There is a wide choice of beers lager and cider on offer, including three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. The real ale was excellent when we called in. There is a stage for live music, a nice conservatory, and a large outside seating area. Dog friendly.Vegetarian options: No longer serves foodParking: Free on street parking can be difficult to find in high season and on bank holidays.Kid-friendliness: Children are allowed in the conservatory and the garden.Wheelchair accessibility: The pub is flat all on one level flat entrance and easy wheelchair access.

The bar staff are great but if you want to be included in entertainment you better be a regular..the regulars get put ahead of everyone. Its atrocious. You're not allowed to be included if you're not known. Service behind bar is good and atmosphere

Solid pub. Landladies are lovely. I swear it really was Dolly Parton on the stage a couple weeks back. Beer is well kept. Dog friendly. Happy days.
