Went for lunch on Good Friday, before we ordered they had the courtesy to say there’s a 15 minute wait for food.Food was lovely; the Welsh rarebit was so good I’m obsessed with making them at home to try and make as good as the one I had here!

Went in for coffee and cake. Flat whites were poor and tasted like cafetiere coffee. Cake selection ok. Deli quite disappointing, few local cheeses or condiments.

We stopped for lunch on a cold and wet autumn day. We ordered soup and sandwiches. The food was quite tasty but we were taken aback by the waitresses comment ‘this is a lot of food for 2 people’ Not really what we expected considering we only went there because of the positive reviews we had read.

This is a deceptive cafe as much bigger inside than you may think! Great coffee and huge range of cakes and scones including gluten free. Gluten free cherry cake superb! Would prefer it if you could be served at the table rather than queuing up to order but that is just a personal preference. Cafe sits near the abbey. Would return!

Fabulous choose your own breakfast, freshly cooked, coffee is really good here too, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, busy at 9.30am, great place to catch up with friends.

Nice place to have lunch. Food is tasty and good quality. Staff are polite and friendly. The coffee, however, is disappointing and a big shame. Tastes like instant with warm milk but with a high price, hence only 4 stars.

Lovely venue deceptively huge! The deli looks tasty! Drinks were great and fairly priced. This is a fantastic location opposite the Anbey and carpark. Would recommend.

Had a very nice late lunch after a visit to the Abbey. There was a good choice of light meals. We ordered eggs Benedict which came with good quality, thickly sliced ham and runny poached eggs and a vegetarian all day breakfast that impressed our veggie friend. Everything is cooked in the open kitchen behind the counter and we didn’t wait too long for our order. The young women serving were friendly and cheerful despite having come to the end of a busy shift. It met our needs and exceeded expectations.
