Quite apart from being an outstanding garden centre, with first class products and produce, the staff team are first rate and always courteous and helpful. My wide and I made one of our quite frequent visits to the Sedlescome branch yesterday morning 11th November. We were so very pleased with the way in which the management recognised the two minute silence of Remembrance. The whole store, staff and customers alike immediately ceased whatever they were doing, and respected that very important reverence without a murmer, cough or even the slightest movement. Absolute respect was shown. You could have heard a pin drop! Very moving indeed. Thank you Blackbrooks. It was very much appreciated.Trevor and Susan Spinks

Really impressed with staff, friendliness and seemed to enjoy their job! Particularly Peter at the till and Sophie, a delight to be looked after by them. The food arrived quickly and we really enjoyed the rapport with Sophie - a really happy go lucky lady. The food is good quality and the choice of cakes delight the eye. My friend was oggling the date slice as she hasn't seen one in 'years'. I already had sight of the banoffee pie in short crust pastry ! .You're not going to get the ease of parking, good food etc for cheap, but it was a pleasure. Plenty of room and lots to feast the eyes on in the rest of the store for unusual gifts. Nice couple of hours spent here, we came out despite the torrential rain. It was a good choice!

Visited the cafe in lower dicker, can honestly say this was the worse breakfast ever, bacon must of been part cooked in oven & reheated in microwave as rind on bacon not even cooked, eggs snotty, mushrooms black and the whole plate was swimming in grease… disgusting. And it wasn’t cheap… even coffee wasnt good and it’s from a barista machine. Garden centre was in a poor state, needs attention and kitchen staff need food training. Not hard to cook a breakfast !

Good choices, including options for gluten free. Sometimes a long queue but the staff are efficient so it moves fairly quickly. Like that there is free water usually with a flavour in it - today it was oranges. Sandwiches come with bit of salad and chips- good amount of filling. Cakes are delicious - large slices. Eating area is airy. Free parking. It’s not the cheapest cafe but the food is good,

Oh my days. This place was amazing. Stopped off on our way to Hastings because we wanted to dodge the rain.Cookware, crockery, the most glorious meat and cheese counter, cakes, frozen fresh ready meals, fresh bread, sauces, chutneys etc. Could have stayed for hours.Didn't get to browse the garden centre which we will next time we visit.

Spotted this place when driving back to London. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Managed to buy some bottles of Harvey's ales that I hadn't tried at a reasonable price. Guess what.. they are ready for Christmas!!

Nice place for a meal/lunch - people very friendly and plenty of choice. Food was hot and plenty of cakes and scones to choose from to either eat in or take away

We often go to this Garden Centre when staying at our caravan in Hastings. They have a large variety of plants along with a shoe outlet selling Sketchers and Pavers products. They also have a large Cafeteria and lovely Farm Shop.

A late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Baguettes with prawn and crayfish, accompanied by chips and salad, excellent value and absolutely delicious (albeit a bit messy to eat) ?

Some good bargains to be had. We also had a fish and chips meal - very tasty but too big.

A bit overpriced but aren't most garden centres. Had a new butchers department and the vegetable market was lovely. We also grabbed two fab sale items so all in all a great day out.

Always used to visit Blackbrooks for breakfast until we discovered Wylands. We decided to try Blackbrooks as not been in a long time to see how it compares and I have to say we were really disappointed. Ordered the light breakfast and the sausage and bacon were undercooked. Incredibly expensive as well. Such a shame as the garden centre is lovely. Will be sticking to Wylands.

I did buy garden furniture Supposed to be one year guarantee And about cover as well And supposed to be water resistance. All the cushion. Have got stain And is not water resistant When the sell didn't tell anything about this Basically, they're not underguarantee. And customer service is not helpful I will not recommend to anyone and I will not spend one penny on the garden center
