Food delicious. My partner had a toasted sandwich and I had tuna and sweetcorn sandwich, salad and homemade coleslaw and homemade dressing. Both bursting with filling. Tea and coffee. Excellent service.

Very sweet cafe/tea room with lovely decor and cute crockery. Lovely location. However, we waited a really long time for our order to be taken - and the place only had a couple of tables in when we arrived. Food took a very long time to arrive and was clearly shoved quickly in microwave when it did,No apology from staff when this was raised, In fact she lied and said her mother had cooked in oven when clearly had not been anywhere near one - would actually have been fine if they said “yes we did as short on time/staff/ whatever” I’d go again maybe as cute place for tea and drink but would avoid ordering any “cooked” food. Good price for a cup of tea etc.

Amazing food service and atmosphere, I have never felt cozier and more comfortable in a public place, offering new things unlike no other to stand out in the crowd of hastings.
We had afternoon tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It is the best tea we had all ever had. Everything was freshly cooked and totally delicious, the warm scones with jam and cream were to die for. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend this tea room highly enough.

I love Bluebells - I’ve visited twice now. On my first visit had the most decadent, lovely sausage roll I’ve ever eaten. On the most recent visit I ordered a scone with jam and cream. Well, I admitted to a lovely staff member that I was embarrassed at how quickly I hoovered it up. Warm, tasty, delicious. These guys really know how to cook and how to make you feel very welcome. I look forward to my next visit!

Really pleased with food and service. Staff were very welcoming and kind, and were happy to accommodate us without a booking. The atmosphere is also very cute. We got the afternoon tea and everything was made fresh on the day. Would recommend.

Lovely experience at Bluebells Tearoom. Welcoming staff, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Dogs are welcome and our whippet was spoilt with a sausage from the lovely ladies. Not to be missed if you are in Battle ❤

Traditional tea shop on the high street near the Abbey. Scones are tasty - gluten free plain ones lovely served with jam and clotted cream, “normal” cheese scones tasty. Tea is served in beautiful teapot and cups - delicate china. Good service too. Nice menu - if you want the amazing looking afternoon tea including sandwiches, cakes, scones, mini quiche, pork pie etc do book in advance. Thank you for a lovely visit.
