Stopped in for a pint while wandering round Battle. Was super quiet but I enjoyed the chilled atmosphere and the bartender was lovely and friendly. Good quality ale enjoyed by their open

Always go for drinks in The Kings Head when in Battle. It never seems to be overly busy so can get served quickly and find somewhere comfy too suit and chat. The service is always friendly, especially on my last visit.

Pub has an amazing friendly atmosphere. Staff ate great and couldn't do anymore to make sure your visit is special.

Escaped a rainy day for a couple of drinks in this lovely old pub in Battle. Really liked the atmosphere and seems like a place where you could have a great time. Didn't have food. Only negative was my dad was charged over £15 for a lager and G&T. Seems a bit excessive in the circunstances but he only mentioned it after we had left so it wasn't queried. Hence only giving a 3 star for service.

We was down from York as viking re enactors and this pub was where we drank after a hard days battle. It was so homely and welcoming that we didnt even bother with the other pubs around. One particular lady behind the bar showed us amazing hospitality and does this pub very proud and know that because of her the vikings will be back, but with more vikings.

We visited Battle for three days and had a drink in most of the pubs. This was by far the worst for customer service. Nice pub but two female staff behind the bar were not eve welcoming. Got a much more lovelier welcome in the other pubs

Nice pub close to the main street in Battle. I loved the old-fashioned items hanged all over the place that gives the place a good vibe and makes you enjoy your pint even more. It's in a stone's throw distance from the Battle Abbey. Worth check it out.

Lovely, cosy little pub. Very friendly staff and I loved the burning log fire. Outdoor suntrap was very quirky. Would love to come back for longer and spend some time whilst the live music is on!
