Lucky for me to have Mowgli as my closest curry house. The food is so nice as is the efficient service and warm welcome in a great atmosphere. Draught Cobra and good house wines too.

The restaurant edited their response so I will edit my review.I would not use them again for a takeaway myself, maybe they were having a bad day.Food was good though.
Delicious excellent food, unfortunately the staff were less exceptional, even though we had booked in advance it seemed like a bother we were there, after a lovely onion bahji starter we waited almost an hour for our mains. No smiles from anyone, we ordered a second drink to go with our main and waited 15 minutes for that! Dessert was lovely, recommend the orange surprise sorbet, hubby had the pistachio kulfi, still waiting for the bill asked 10 mins ago…

Weather was fowl so I decided to order us up and collect a takeaway. It was ready for collection on time and well packed. All the food was absolutely delicious. Our mains were a chicken Pasanda and a lamb dhansak with rice, naan and a side. Beautifully flavoursome. Many thanks Mike & Diana

I was tempted by the lunchtime offer. Exterior a bit lacking but interior was welcoming. I was alone for nearly an hour at midday. Can imagine a hit more buzzing with more people inside. Good really nice. Service OK.

The food we had was good , but came at an unexpectedly high price as the web site prices are based on vegetable curries, meat dishes are somewhat higher and an additional 10% service charge is added to the bill, but not mentioned on the web. As stated on many other TA reviews for the Mowgli the service really lets the restaurant down ie. everything has to be asked for twice, even the bil. Should the service greatly improve, then the quality of the food might just justify the higher cost (less 10%) but until that happens I should avoid . Going to a restaurant is more than just food, it should be a good overall experience that is provided, and sadly this was not the case.
