Seafood Restaurants in Brighton

“The sourdough bread with lobster butter was an amazing starter. For mains we ordered grilled brill and it was fresh and delicious, this also came with sides of the garlicky potatoes and pea salad which were also top notch. We celebrated our mum's birthday here and brought our own cake, which they kindly kept for us until the end of the meal. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.”

“Wonderful food and good service. The two basic essentials for any good restaurant, are here in abundance. In addition, you get a lovely, quite intimate little spot, a great wine list and Avery reasonable bill at the end of your meal. We had 2 courses one glass of wine and a water. £105 Inc the 12.5% service charge.”

“This quaint little shack is situated right by the beach and serves excellent fresh seafood items. We ordered lobster roll and garlic & chilli prawns both of which were amazing. Lobster roll especially so, delicious and fresh. The service was pretty quick. Will definitely be coming back next time.”

“First time here for birthday meal. Made welcome on arrival and seated near the kitchen - good to see the efficient way everything worked there. We were looked after brilliantly by Jorja who was incredibly speedy as she went round all her tables with an ever present smile Moules mariniere were large mussels and a good starter portion, as were the potted shrimps. We both had lemon sole which were delicious; the two sides we had were great but almost too much for our appetites. We’ll certainly be back.”

“First time I had ever had mussels and they were delicious. More than I could actually eat, in a big casserole type container. Chips too. Excellent service, beautiful venue, really good value. I will go back.”

“Cannot for the life of us understand bad reviews of this place. The seafood was really really fresh and clearly everything was carefully made. We had crab chowder which was the best chowder since one I had in San Francisco ten years ago. Mixed seafood casserole was so full of flavour and a good amount of fresh seafood and well balanced flavours. I guess some people are too used to Wetherspoon type food. The Chef did a great job (certainly on our visit anyway ). Not cheap but nothing good is …We have eaten in some very good Seafood restaurants around the World and the freshness and flavours here were as good as any.”
