Outstanding pub, the new management Hannah and Will (photographed) have made some great improvements here. I visited yesterday, the first time for a while. The table I usually had now has two very comfortable leather armchairs which were shining with leather polish! Elsewhere the tables were all shining clean. There is a new menu. I had the steak and Bishops Finger ale pie made with plenty of lean steak and baby onions. (Photographed) Bishops Finger is a winter warmer ale from Shepherd and Neame (Faversham) and this is one of their pubs. The pie was served up very hot with slightly pickled red cabbage, delicious mashed potatoes and gravy. There was so much veg you certainly do not need sides with that dish The decor in the pub was very autumnal, very tasteful - especially around the fireplace and elsewhere. The staff were all so friendly. I felt they were genuinely keen to make sure I enjoyed myself and that I had all I need. A friend arrived later to meet me for the football which was on plenty of screens. I drank mostly the Red ale and my friend had Masterbrew. Both were very fresh and highly pleasant to the taste. I will be back soon.

Having been before with previous owners food was good. Went on 5th Oct 23 to see the band. Ordered Humous, which was tasteless, 4 small triangles of dry pitta bread. The chicken skewer was spoilt by a sauce, maybe ketchup.? Chicken was small. Very

If the bricklayers arms are this good, what about the rest of the body?

Excellent, family and dog friendly pub with outdoor covered seating area. Had the fish and chips which was freshly made to order and well worth the wait. Live sport shown on TV's inside and out. Dart board and regular live music and quiz nights.
Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff. It's a nice local to pop in for a drink and a chat rather than somewhere you would drive to visit with family.

Enjoyed a meal and bottle of wine after an early evening walk. Staff were very friendly and service was good. A good choice of wine. The menu has a good selection starters and mains including vegetarian.Looking forward to returning for some Live Music in the coming weeks.

Bromley is not short of great pubs. Competition is very high. But if I had to judge on overall quality, Bricklayers Arm is the best pub. Food is absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is great. But the highest mark goes to staff, friendliness and professionalism.
