I've been there only for a drink, but it seems to be a clean place with nice staff.

Sky Sports, dartboard, jukebox, beer, local customers! In my opinion, 5 of the best features a pub can have!Decent selection of beer choice on tap and on bottle, non-alcoholic beer too if that tickles your fancy - alongside bar snacks.Friendly staff, always on hand for service, and you're very rarely waiting too long to be served. The only time I did wait a while for service was when it was a packed pub for Super Sunday football - ordered 2 pints, and the manager apologised for making me wait, and didn't charge me - 2 beers on the house!Incredible!Dog friendly, kid friendly (has board games) - and every single one of the locals are friendly too! They even have a fishmonger that pops in every Sunday evening around 6ish selling fresh small-potted seafood that you're allowed to eat in the pub. Lovely fella he is too!Overall, one of the better pubs in the local area and honestly one of the cleanest too - including the gents toilets!Glad we've got a pub like this locally as this kind of pub is the type that we're losing, daily.Save The Local by giving The Bricklayers Arms your custom! ?

The ale quality was good, the price of a pint was very keen and the bar staff were friendly. A genuine pub that I would visit again and I live 400 miles away.

Went for a Xmas meetup with a friend - can honestly say it was one of the best night's fun and enjoyment I have had in over 20 years. Entertainment was soooo good (John Lennon!). Definitely my go to pub from now on - "proper pub"

Wonderful good old fashioned English pub! We were greeted by delightful regulars playing darts right as we came in. Staff was super friendly. Each bartender came to have a nice chat while we sat and had a pint. Showed us around to the charming beer garden. Such a lovely experience, we didn't want to leave! Will absolutely return if we ever find ourselves back in London.

Super little pub. Friendly staff, great beer choices and lots of televisions to watch the football.

Nice open bar, loads of rooms off. Felt like wall to wall TV Sports, but it is a Sports bar, so fair enough. Dec 2022 3 ales, 1 guiness was about £16. Not bad for London

Old fashioned clean comfortable type of pub with a nice atmosphere

Much nicer than the number of customers suggested. I nipped in for a quick one and spent almost an hour in the garden. It is a good space on a sunny day. Ale was decent and reasonably priced. Thumbs up ?

Always a warm welcome here, with very friendly staff.

Probably the best pub in the area. Used to be a Youngs, now mercifully a freehouse with very, very fairly priced pints that are well kept. All the sport on TV and really friendly, efficient staff who recognise you after a couple of visits. Old school pub without the old school ruffian elements. Anyone who lives nearby will know this anyway, but worth taking a trip to if not from the area, for an afternoon or evening in a quality, traditional pub.
