Nice cafe. Been here a few times.The owner the other week even though they were about to close made a special effort to stay open for 2 women and children who'd been out swimming and wanted ice creams and cookies and drinks and it was raining which I thought was really nice of her!Had delicious flapjack and takeaway bread and butter pudding and tea.Will definitely return.
We were looking at a full on day work wise and in an ideal world a good coffee and good (not stringy/undercooked meat and flabby bread) bacon sandwich. Stuck in traffic due to the rain this looked a rapidly diminishing possibility. On passing this cafe I suggested we try there. A good decision! One of the best bacon sandwiches- meat good and excellent sourdough bread and in my case with cress which was a gentle contrast. Super friendly owners, great range of food and very nice coffee. Would love for there to be smaller tables allowing for more room to move and more people in ones and twos. Bonus request is to put toast spreads on the side; my peanut butter was too thick for me?.
