Just had the most delicious takeaway from Zaal, we collected at 8pm on a Saturday (so peak busy time!) and I cannot find a single fault. Absolutely lovely food, we will definitely be back soon! Thank you ?

Staying in the local area so this place was 'pot luck'. It absolutely DID NOT dissapoint. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our meals were cooked and ready for collection exactly as we asked (slight difference to their menu). More importantly the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Food was still nice and hot by the time we had walked back to the camping & caravanning club campsite nearby.If we ever stay here again we'll be back.Spot on. ??Well done Zaal????

Ordered by phone a takeaway to pick up. We were doing 2 seperate orders and lady on the phone was very friendly and efficient. There was a 5% reduction for picking food up. The food was hot and smelt good. Rice, chips, breads and onion bhajees were good. Pathia curries lacked flavour but chicken was tender. Complimentary poppadams and onion salad was a nice touch.

What has happened? Terrible quality all sauce and no veg or meat. Previously a go to but not anymore. Is this what is happening with the cost of living?

You converted my wife into a curry lover! This is now our go-to curry takeaway in the area. I've also had the set meal for one, and it was an extremely generous portion, and delicious.

This is one of the best Indian takeaways I have ever been to, and let me tell you I have been to a lot of Indian places 1 or 2 in different countries

I have unfortunately only used Zaal a couple of times as I am the only one who eats Indian food in the house But whenever I have ordered the food has been excellent, Full of Flavour and decent Spice level

We use Zaal regularly and have usually been happy. Except recently and again tonight, it was dreadful. A prawn Biriyani dish that is usually flavoursome and a delight was, at best, reheated stodge. No flavour, rice-pudding-like texture and frankly after two mouthfuls I was done. My husband’s meal was equally poor. We won’t be returning. I don’t know if they have changed chef, management or what has gone on there. But trust me. Do not bother. Such a shame.
The food was worse than any supermarket TV dinner: far too sweet with bright colouring to the korma and tikka massala that shouted “artificial colours and flavours”. My saag paneer was inedible…and for me that is a first. I can only assume the reviews claiming this is the best in Crowborough were being ironic!

Our friends in crowborough ensure us this is the best takeaway in town. First order two months ago was a bhuna and Rogan Josh, both tasted the same. Last night we ordered a bhuna and a korai and they again tasted and looked the same.Naan and rice was fine but all four curries I've had were just chicken in slop. Who knows maybe I'll go lamb in slop next time.
