We visited after walking in the nearby Ashdown Forest. This was conveniently placed on the route home, so decided to pop in. Be mindful that there is no parking, you will have to find some then walk up. The place itself is quite large, clean spacious and not busy at the time we visited (just after lunch) I had visited over 20 years ago, and it is very different from then, but in a good way. A smashing setting for Wetherspoons, a great pub in a lovely environment.All the usual specials and great deals with unusually excellent service.I love the menu days such as Curry Thursday, where you can get a drink and a very passable Katsu curry for less than eight pounds. You can't beat it!
