Absolutely brilliant evening at the Seafare. We just popped in (late) for a bag of chips. However the welcome was so warm from these gorgeous Portuguese people we stayed for a fabulous sit down meal of grilled fish, potatoes and salad. All perfectly cooked with a nice glass of very reasonably priced wine. The evening was further enhanced by our fellow diners, all of whom were Portuguese. They included us in their conversations and even a birthday celebration. What a fabulous and totally unexpected experience!

I absolutely loved this gem of a place. A tiny bit shabby looking but completely authentic and the fish and chips were some of the best ever , not to mention the beautifully creamy mushy peas - and all at prices to make you smile. Going back to try the Portuguese House specialities tomorrow.

A hidden gem, this restaurant serves some of the best Portuguese food you will find anywhere. Prices are fair and the owners are charming. From the outside it looks unassuming, but the food is amazing.

Fantastic food. As a non-chip lover I find these are the best around, crispy but soft inside, without needing to be drowned in salt. Off menu items have been my go to and they have always been delicious and made surprisingly quickly. Service is fast, friendly. Atmosphere can be a little loud during football season but usually reasonable. Very comfortable whether you're stopping for a meal or just a quickie.Wondering if I can get a francesinha here

Very *very* bad chips here. The other reviews comparing them to frozen oven chips are right. They were underdone with a very unpleasant texture and a weird taste, I had no idea chips could be messed up this badly. The setup looked more like somebody's kitchen than a chip shop, very weird vibes there. I have no idea how this place is 4.4 stars on Google right now
