Was property hunting in Sussex and stopped in Eastbourne to have a look around and get some lunch. This was the first place we found and it was excellent. We had cod cakes, crab claws and shared a swordfish sandwich on sourdough style bread. Everything was excellent, including the coffees. I get what people say about it not really bring a restaurant and would class it more as a café which serves light meals. Wow…Fantastic food. Fantastic people. Fantastic service. What a gem. It’s great because we have missed visiting Portugal because of COVID. We almost felt as if we were back on the Algarve..apart from the weather. This will become a very regular visit for us.
