Bucklers is my regular place for coffee and cake, which is always good. When I go for breakfast or brunch, I like the Quesadillas or the Chirizo Hash, both are delicious. But having had most items on the menu, everything is delish. Melvyn and the team are great at what they do, service is great.

Just had a quiet lunch here with my daughters and 18 month grandson. The food was excellent. My baked potato with tuna mayonnaise and cheese, with salad - was large and very tasty. My daughters' vegetarian choice was excellent too and they were able to accommodate my daughter who asked for a substitute item in her dish. Very good value and I should certainly recommend this restaurant.

Cafe was full but not busy; it was well staffed and there were no takeaway orders.Walked in and a table was cleared for us so we could sit down and we were told someone would come and take our order.We waited 20 mins, no one came to take our order; meanwhile a group of 5 turned up, sat down, had their order taken and received their order. We ended up ordering at the counter because the wait was taking too long. It took a further 10 mins for our drinks to arrive. The server brought them over then proceeded to take all the cutlery away, then bring it back moments later which was just strange.The drinks were actually really nice it’s just a shame the service was so poor. No apology was offered for poor service either.

Last visit was in 2019 but the wonderful quality, welcoming atmosphere was unchanged. A really nice place to have a meal. Lovely friendly staff too.
