Lots of returning customers so obviously popular.
We were there for Sunday lunch which was very good value and served piping hot.
Good range on the menu.
The venue lacked atmosphere but it was a lunchtime.

1/2 bottle of Marques de Riscal 2020 is a superb Tempranillo/Graciano Rioja - beautiful with lamb!
Friendly service, good ambience in a traditional but very attractive dining area with a separate spacious, comfortable bar.

My girlfriend had a spicy king prawn dish I can’t remember the name but she said it was very very tasty. Spoke to the owner and he was so lovely and attentive!

Customer service was great aswell, me and my friend were treated with respect and talked to with a nice and friendly tone. I loved the atmosphere it was very cozy, comfortable and hygienic. Worth checking out for sure!

68 High St, HailshamI recently had the pleasure of ordering from here, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is definitely worth trying.
The Lamb biriyani was absolutely outstanding, perfectly cooked rice, rich aroma, and a great balance of spices that made every bite satisfying. Their tandoori items were equally impressive, with juicy, well-marinated meat and that authentic smoky flavor you expect from a good tandoor.
The peshwari naans were soft, fresh, and complemented the dishes perfectly. You can really tell they are made with care. I also tried a few starter items, and they did not disappoint—flavorful, well-seasoned, and a great way to begin the meal.
Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and satisfying Indian dishes!

66 High St, Hailshambeen getting johns fairly frequently since about 2016, this place is wonderful, fast delivery, food is always fantastic and the staff have been super friendly whenever ive had to call up about a mistake i made when ordering.
recently had some health issues meaning i can no longer eat gluten, and im lucky still able to eat johns because of the gluten free items, which taste amazing, and have been a life saver for me, i highly recommend johns! ??

32 High Street, HailshamI'd like to thank and give a huge shout out to the young blood in Dominoes, I had a problem with the App and I handed my phone to both Leo and Dylan, and they saw that the app was the problem!! They as in Leo and Dylan sorted it out and talked to the Management who may I add was a very nice man. They helped me to no end and my pizza is delicious. Thank you guys. I look forward to seeing you again.

She was professional & a charming young lady.
She was friendly, bubbly & when we asked 4 our toasties to be done on both sides she happily obliged.

The coffee shop is amazing, from the delicious coffee to the food, cakes, and a lovely kids menu that makes it perfect for families. What really makes this place stand out though is the people. The staff are incredible, so kind, caring, and genuinely welcoming. Diddi (apologies, not sure of the spelling) in particular is one of the most uplifting people I’ve met in a long time. The customer service felt magical from start to finish. Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience. We cannot wait to come back. This is easily our favourite coffee shop now.

1 George St, HailshamWe recently visited The George Hotel, which is easily one of the cosier pubs from JD Wetherspoon. It has more of a country-style feel than most - warm, relaxed, and the kind of place you actually enjoy sitting in for a while, which we really liked.
We did have a bad experience on our first visit, but credit where it’s due: the team addressed it properly. When we came back, the staff were genuinely welcoming and made a real effort — they even came over to check on us, which meant a lot and showed they actually care about their customers.
It’s refreshing to see that level of sincerity, and it completely changed our impression. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and a nice cosy vibe overall. We’d happily return.

A267 Hellingly, A22, HailshamFriendly staff and drinks were made quickly despite it being busy! There are plenty of seats available, free Wi-Fi and plug sockets. Toilets are available as well. It looks much better now with the refurbishment. The car park has been resurfaced which is great, it was full of potholes before.
Only negative is it can get a little noisy inside if busy, must be the open plan layout.
