We visited for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't particularly busy and our service was prompt, but not pushy. The waitress was lovely, smiley and helpful. The pea, pesto and mint penne was very good and the chicken and avocado salad (had by one of our group) was also deemed to be very tasty. We'd selected these from the summer set menu which offers two courses and a drink (from a limited selection) for £15.95 (August 2019) and this proved to be good value. The venue is nice with large windows at one end and walls decorated with framed (slightly faded) posters and prints. The toilets were a little tired, but clean and tidy. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

A lovely venue (former School House) and parking fairly easy. It was a birthday meal for my daughters 11th Birthday. The meal was OK, however my wife's pasta dish - the Penne gorgonzola was not very nice, very salty and she left half of it. My Tre carni calzone was fairly tasty and well-seasoned, I also ordered some Pizza fries which were OK. However the big disappointment was the miserable and grumpy waitress who served us – she was so rude!
We bought along a small cake, and asked the manager if this could be bought out at the end of the meal with our coffee’s and whilst my daughter was having her dessert (as part of the children’s meal). She just came up to the table, plonked the cake down on the table and stormed off without saying a word!
We love Prezzo and have always enjoyed their food and the atmosphere in their restaurants, and I had high hopes for the one in Hailsham as it’s a really unique venue, however they clearly need to give their waitress staff further training on how to engage with customers / or provide a personality transplant!
