I thought I would start trying Starbucks instead of costa and go to to the one in Hailsham, well what can I say the place was clean, tidy and well stocked it was a pleasure to walk into BUT the staff were misserable , even though I was happy and greeted them with a smile I got nothing back. Waited for my coffee it came I said thank you have a nice day didn't even get a reply not even a grunt. Its really sad when staff are so down at work and don't enjoy their job it reflects on the company and maybe the company needs to find out why as well because I most certainly won't be back that is for sure.

Come here often. Staff always friendly and chatty, and always plenty of seating.Just watch out for the craters in the car park, albeit that isn't the fault of Starbucks as they don't own that bit.

I visited this store yesterday.I ordered a white chocolate Frappuccino with hazelnut syrup, without coffee.I appreciate this is a custom order, but it was made wrong twice.the girl who served me was incredibly rude.the first time she made me a hot chocolate instead, and when i told her, she took it back without any comment.The second time she gave me it with coffee in it.I am a breastfeeding mother, I had my new-born baby in my arms.When I said it is with coffee and not what I ordered she said "are you serious?"I then had to have an argument with her about that is not what I ordered or paid for.She eventually then said "fine" and proceeded to make my correct drink.The fact that she would have been okay for me to drink coffee and pass that on to my baby is disgusting! And all because she did not want to have to remake it! Especially as it wasn't my fault, I was not being given what I ordered.I don't understand how this attitude is accepted in Starbucks?I will not be visiting this branch again.
