It was my first time coming here and my friend treated me for my Birthday to afternoon tea. There were loads of tasty treats provided by the lovely owner. You get SO MUCH for your money and it is all good quality. I recommend a visit and would definitely return!

(Translated by Google) We were looking for a nice place for a real British teatime in Hastings and saw the good reviews here. We can confirm that! A very lovingly run small cafe, we were welcome guests, the teatime was delicious and the portions were very rich and inexpensive! The lemon and chocolate cake was so delicious, all freshly made and beautifully presented.(Original)Wir suchten einen netten Ort für eine richtig britische Teatime in Hastings und sahen hier die guten Rezensionen.

Lovely afternoon tea, time was taken to check out items as I have a nut allergy. Delicious food, friendly service, definitely recommend.

I ordered a take away Roast Beef dinner for two today from Bus stop Bakery. The food was ready at the agreed time and was very well packaged. I took it home and was very impressed with quality of the food , and the quantities. As well as roast beef, roast potatoes and home made Yorkshire puddings, there was cauliflower cheese, peas, carrots, swede, roast carrots and parsnip and gravy in a separate carton. I plated it up and heated it up in the microwave and really enjoyed everything on my plate. Helpings are very generous and everything was well cooked. I would certainly recommend a roast lunch from the Bus stop bakery.

Excellent afternoon cream tea, with all homemade food by a lovely local lady, and all for an exceptional price; took home leftovers for dinner!

I took my daughter for a little treat of afternoon tea , could not fault the price , very reasonable, the food was tasty and fresh and the owner very chatty and welcoming!! It might not be placed in an idyllic country setting but you can't eat the setting , the food , price and welcome are more important and happy to support a local business!! We will be back

This Was my second visit to the tea rooms and they also delivered to my home during lockdown! The normal price of £7.50 per head is very reasonable for the amount of food served on the afternoon tea and also includes your drink. On this visit I was lucky enough to book for a day on the eat out to help out half price scheme. Absolutely perfect in every single way ???
