The staff do try but clearly they are understaffed. Place looks messy and definitely not the usual Nero experience or standard.

Appalling customer service. Very young waitress, didn't catch her name, was very stroppy and rude to both me and the lady in front of me. It was a quiet Sunday, so she wasn't that busy. She rolled her eyes at my child's order, completely messed up the drinks and said I'd have to come back during the week if I wanted a refund, even though she'd overcharged me! Pity really as the food was nice, but we won't be going back there. She said that there was no manager to complain to - what a joke!

We love the coffee at cafe Nero but today was a bad experience. Staff who were totally inefficient chatting together and obviously unfamiliar with the system.short-staffed as evidenced by someone helping out who had come in off the street with family.

Don’t bother ordering frappachinos they just send the liquid. Happened multiple times. This cost me 6.50 when I asked for cream and syrup frappachino. She said she “made it herself and definitely did it properly” when on the phone but when I continued to complain she then admitted they ran out of ice? Don’t take the order then and don’t lie? Honestly I wouldn’t mind mistakes happen but just own up to it and don’t pretend the customer is lying.

Nero is never my first choice of coffee shop and after today's visit, it will remain that way. Every table was piled high in dirty cups and crockery, took me over 15 minutes to order a simple iced coffee and staff were miserable and couldn't care less. Won't bother again.

I have run out of time waiting to be served on my brake.Male member of staff complaining loudly about making one coffee to take away (not for me - for delivery) quite rude and unpleasant. Took him forever to do it and then he vanished leaving girl on her own serving long queue.I can't even rate the coffee as it took so long, that I had to go back to work.

The woman that was on june sunday 25 at 10 am is a rockstar. She was the cashier, hot coffee, cold dinks, cook, waiter and never losing her kind attitude. Frankly if I was in her spot I would have not lasted long. The employees of this store deserve a lot more and I hope Nero is meeting their requests and being a good employer.My drink was very very tasty and although the place required more attention, the staff were absolute rockstars.

Normally go to Costa for a salted caramel fappe, decided to try Caffe Nero, what a disappointment, definitely not worth the money not really a frappe not sure what it was. It was also in really small cup almost thrown at me. Not very friendly atmosphere. Won't be going again.

Dreadful service. The staff (3 of them!) were huddled round the 'Frappe' machine trying to work our how to use it!! One of the 3 women didn't appear to be actually on duty as she was constantly on her phone & making herself a drink!! The queue was so long that it almost reached to the door. My husband was 4th in the queue & it took 15 minutes before our 2 cortados were made!! We only waited that length of time as we had a Gift Card to use. The girl who served my husband didn't understand how to use the Gift Card. The service in this particular Cafe Nero is never good, but today beat the usual indifference. Please train your staff before releasing them to the public!!
