Visited in July 2023. We came to Hastings for a long weekend. We previously have been to Dragon Bar before and we knew it was a good spot for drinks and fun vibes. This didn’t disappoint. Located on the busy George Street, this bar is popular with locals and tourist. This is chilled out spot has all the usual drinks on offer. There was a DJ on the decks spinning the classics.

We had a dozen fantastic oysters with a delicious dressing of fresh dill and pickled onion, some creative and delicious small plates and cocktails. Wonderful staff and food.

Fab tapas bar/restaurant - food was spot on, particularly the goats cheese crostini - although it was all great. Would definitely eat there again. husband said beer was good too. Atmosphere was nice too, good music vibe which wasn’t too loud.

I had a great lunch at the dragon bar in Hastings with a friend recently. The head chef produced some beautiful food. Great tapas menu that I struggled to choose from because it was all amazing. However, mussels, pigs in blankets/sherry aioli and venison carpaccio with parmigarnio.The staff were very accommodating and attentive. Great selection of beers and wine and overall this doggy friendly place is a gem in the middle of Hastings. Enjoy

Absolutely amazing food! We are not vegan but the vegan nut roast looked so inviting we both had it. It came with roast potatoes, roast parsnip, carrots, braised red cabbage and apple sauce. The best nut roast I have ever tasted. So good we asked for the recipe! Hats off to the chef. Great vibe and friendly welcoming staff. Definitely the place to go in Hastings.
