Terrible Experience with Delivery and Customer ServiceI recently ordered takeout from this Indian restaurant and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Firstly, the delivery person threw the food at my door and dashed off without taking any payment. After returning ten minutes later, he demanded payment, but didn’t have any change and attempted to overcharge me by £7. When I asked for the total, he couldn’t provide it, which led to confusion and delays. Eventually, I had to scramble to find exact change while my food sat cold on the plate.Upon contacting the manager, who happened to be the owner’s daughter, I was met with indifference. She acknowledged the ongoing complaints about the delivery person’s attitude, but instead of offering a solution or compensation, she brushed off the issue, stating they were not responsible for their staff’s behavior. This lack of accountability and poor customer service left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied.

Was greeted with a warm welcome and seated right by the heater; all warm and toasty. We were very happy as we had complimentary starters and then had the BEST Indian dinner I’ve had in a long long time. Everything down to the naans were to perfection. Glad I have discovered this gem. The enthusiastic owner also told us they have two floors that seat over 100. So will defo keep this in mind for birthdays and Christmas parties!!! Can’t recommend enough. Thank you Ocean Spice xVegetarian options: My vegetarian friend was delighted about the amount that was available for her to eat!Dietary restrictions: Told them I have a gluten allergy and recommend me items!

We have ordered takeaways from Ocean Spice many a time but last night was particularly disappointing. We ordered two kormas (not huge spice fans) and we were sent one and a completely different dish. The onion bhajis were soggy and the korma was so runny it was a soup, not a curry. Normally, the food is decent but couldn’t ignore the huge inconsistency this time around.

I was passing through and came across an amazing smell to realise it was the curry shop. We attended and was greeted with amazing service and smiles all around. We was seated and given our menus. We asked to take our time and it was no issue at all. We couldn’t decide what dishes we wanted to go for and came across so many staff that was willing to help with recommendations. Our experience was amazing and to top it off we was given completely starters and drinks at the end. I was very impressed. Will definitely come back.

This is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever dined in. The food was top notch, service was excellent, atmosphere was impeccable. Not only was I impressed but the rest of my 7 friends I had gone in with were highly satisfied. To end the night the owner gave us complimentary drinks, so happy! Definitely recommend :)
I’ve eaten here a few times and had take away and always found it great . Tonight my takeaway was appalling. Meat was dry, all the dishes seemed to have the same sauce, which were over flavoured with cloves. My paratha was soggy and not fully cooked. I will t be going back

Had takeaways before but food was ok but everything was just abit off. Had blonde waitress waiting round not really doing anything prices, increased extremely high for new years. Restaurants was nearly empty. Food tasted extremely spicy even for milder dishes, nann tasted really floury and overpowering amount of coriander. Got two Currys, two drinks and a starter came to ever £60. Staff where nice but I just wouldn't recommend or go back again.

Brought a takeaway just before Xmas ended up with a stomach infection caused by food poisoning 24hrs after. 16days of being really ill thanks for that!!!!

Had a take away Christmas Eve and it was so dry and tasteless. We have eaten in the restaurant many times and always found it to be lovely. Three of the six of us had an upset tummy after, has put us off now. After spending £86 on a take away you expect a reply from the restaurant, but haven’t heard anything back from them.
