My wife and I have come here a handful of times, and I must say every time has been a wonderful experience. The food is brilliant, the place is clean and comfortable with relaxing music. Prices are fair, and the service has always been great. The staff do the little things that make enjoying a meal and a drink that much better.

'The Good Place' is fantastic for a spot of lunch with friends, family, or perhaps simply to recharge by oneself. I had a delicious toastie and a healthy smoothy whilst meeting up with family. My first time at the cafe and it will now be one of my regular hauntsGemma could not have been more welcoming and made everyone feel at home. The food was fresh and tasty with excellent service.The venue itself is homely and warm, perfect on your own, with friends, or for a group event.Very importantly for me, this is a very welcoming and safe space for anyone from the Igbtgia+ community.It is worth taking a few steps off your usual route to visit.

This cafe may have a small footprint but the staff are really friendly and helpful. We arrived just before they were due to close but were served cheerfully and efficiently. Having been warned upfront that there was only oat milk available, we decided to go ahead with our coffees and they were delicious. Can't wait to go back again and try some sandwiches and cakes!

I booked The Good Place as a venue to celebrate an achievement with our company employees. The atmosphere was amazing and Gemma went to so much trouble to make sure everyone had a great time. The buffet was amazing and is still being spoken about in work almost a month later. I would thoroughly recommend The Good Place if you are looking for an intimate and fun venue for a business or personal event.
