We were on holiday in the area and looking for somewhere with a lunch menu to suit some "picky" junior members of our party. Wetherspoons are reliable generally in terms of choice and this was no exception. Although some of the decor was a little "tired", the service was fast cheerful and courteous, the food was hot and tasty.

Very good choice of real ales, imported beers and other drinksLike every Wetherspoon you get the same good quality of food for a very decent price. I'm a huge fan of Wetherspoons and their real ales.

Visit every time I'm in Hastings (live in Dartford) and honestly say on day of visit 6.7.22 it's about the best it's ever been for real ale. Great choice at the moment and quality spot on. Seems to have had a minor makeover in recent years too just a general decor tidy up (?). Staff great too. Hence it's a 5/5 from me !

We often come for food here but of late it's gone from tolerable to completely rubbish Burgers are dry burnt and inedible chips are like cardboard Your menu needs rethinking desperately

Dated... Needs updating and a big refresh.Superb location. Just generally awful. Lager definitely tasted of ethenol... Pipes not cleaned and flushed properly.

Nice pub with a charming cheeky blonde girl processing us at entry. Strict covid procedures. Had a lovely seat on an open balcony and great value food and drink. Unfortunately on this occasion the app didn’t work apart from that everything was fine. Returned post covid recently and the app was working that enables ordering from your table The facility is modern and clean and represents extremely good value for money. Can never work out why the majority of Wetherspoons have toilets upstairs and many don’t have lifts.

My score is based on the staff at this establishment. I have visited many "Spoons" but never seen such attentive staff.Quick service, polite, cleaned and rearranged tables in record speed.Food usual standard and beer cold. What more do you want !10/10 to the staff !

Decent Weatherspoons pub with huge seating area and garden.Very well designed and all the staff I've ever encountered are friendly. The food is good value and lots of choices and the drinks range is superb. Always able to find a table and reservations are not required.

A very clean and well run branch of J.D Weatherspons. We used it for super each evening on a recent trip to Hastings East Sussex (I have used this branch on previous trips) the food was well cooked, the service was as efficient as one could expect. I have no reason to complain whatsoever. All in all a cheap and pleasant venue to eat out.

A day out in Haistings, we decided to pop in to The John Logie Baird for a few drink ended up walking out after patiently waiting to be served , also when the girl behind the bar asked who was next I gestured to the man beside me as he was before us , while waiting more people came to the bar then realised the girl had completely forgotten were next and chose to serve obviously someone she knew as she called them by name, at that point I made my feelings clear that we had been next and walked out. Very bad service won’t be returning there I expect better service than that !

Nice clean Wetherspoons with some outdoor seating onto street, this is where we sat. Friendly staff and efficient service, food arrived quickly and was fine. I have knocked a point of as the double rums seemed a bit weak

Stayed in Hastings over night and came here for breakfast Usual Spoons - easy choices on menu; quick service and cheap

When a pint costs £2 and a decent curry takes the total to £8, it has to be good v.f.m.The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The only downside to this place is that it is too dark inside, but maybe that will change (please!) with its next refurb?

On arrival the pub was dark and not a lot of natural light or electric light for that matter. Tables looked clean but were sticky. Food ordered and was quick to the table. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Have visited better Wetherspoons establishments.
