Sunday Roast is difficult for delivery and wasn’t getting my hopes up!! However, this Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. I had the roast chicken (if you order for delivery state if you don’t want bones) A fantastic selection of vegetables. All fresh. Cauliflower cheese, mashed swede, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, red cabbage, carrots….Yorkshire pud and the best stuffing I’ve had. Loads of lovely thick tasty gravy. I also had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream and that was just as yummy. It’s not a pub that I like going in, but on a lazy Sunday I highly recommend the roast.

Didn't eat, went to a gig, nice beers and gig was great, could have had another person serving as long waits as the night went on.

Good cheap vegan Sunday lunch with nice veg.

Great venue and interesting events. Disappointed that draft beer is rarely available on pump when I visit, despite demand. And would benefit from servng customers in correct order at bar. I'm a bit old fashioned ;)

Bloody brilliant roast. Last week roast beef, and this week roast pork. After the disappointment of Yates and the Anchor all that's left to say is The Pig provides a wonderful, well-seasoned roast and a pint for under £20. For me, it's a gem and well worth a visit on Sunday. As you can see from the photos it's a plateful with seven or eight different veg. Keep up the great work...

Genuinely one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had. Top marks. I was honestly surprised by the quality, portion size and attention to detail for a music venue. No cask ale but reasonable choice of keg.

Love this local pub. They are super supportive of the creative scene.

Extremely poor bar service, we waited 20 mins at the bar and had to leave in the end. We waited patiently but seemed to be over looked every time a bartender became free. Even though we were acknowledged by the staff multiple times and told that we would be next. Sadly it seemed to be a case of bias, not serving women that were waiting and also favouring “friends” over customers. More vigilance and structure behind the bar is direly needed. The music was fab so it was the service that really let the side down.

Decent food at good prices and the music played over the PA was a cool mix of classic and contemporary blues. Staff were friendly and the drinks were good. A chilled out rainy Tuesday evening.

When you've spent the day resting & chilling, why not order for delivery!? So we did. The Pig (as it's now simply called), do a decent selection of vegan food. We had a burger, some enchiladas, sweet potato fries, regular fries with vegan cheese, & hand cut chips that were like half a potato! So filling! Plenty left for the teenager when she gets home! Great price, too! We ordered for their first service, & it arrived early, courtesy of an exceptionally happy & friendly man! So happy to have ordered our food from The Pig. A great evening end to the first day of the year! Definitely going to order again!

Bad service, very bad delivery and have used them twice and had exactly the same experience each time. Shame, could have been a lot better. Disappointing.
