The people running this place were lovely. Quick efficient service, food was hot, tasty and what I expected from a Brewers Fayre. Not fine dining but that was not at all expected from this chain, special mention for the staff though, only got Aprils name but all of them were a credit to the establishment, thanks all

Visited for a lunch with a friend and children. Had a lovely time, easy to park, we were shown to our table really quickly and didn’t have to wait long for our food. The children loved going into the soft play during our visit. The menu was good choice and we used a voucher so the children ate for free! The lady who served us on the till was very friendly and the lady April who brought over our food was extremely helpful and very friendly too, she was kind and nice to our children, and gave them an activity sheet to do whilst we were waiting for the food. Overall, a very nice visit and will be going back very soon and also recommending to our friends and family. Thank you ?

Second time I've been to this establishment, so wanted to wait till id been more than once to give my review. The first time was lovely. I went for my daughters first birthday and although it wasn't pre booked the staff still went above and beyond to make our time special. The value for money is amazing! I love the size of the pub and despite it being so big the staff manage to keep things organised and the place clean. My second visit was great, i enquired about having my babies christening and the information given by kirstie the manager was second to none. Ive previously been asking different venues for information and haven't been happy because of the lack of enthusiasm and detail regarding how things will be, however she managed to answer all my questions and actually took the time to show my a variety of potential areas and seating plans we could have, the food plan is straightforward and she was happy for me to ask a million questions. The food that day was as good as the first time i went, and tbh all the staff are pleasant and seem to actually enjoy their work which makes a nice change when eating out. I honestly wasn't sure about coming when i first looked up this establishment, im not sure why, maybe because of how good value it was, i thought the price would reflect the standards how wrong was i!! This is now one of my favourite places to go and that's without even mentioning the soft play area for children. This really is an excellent put that most pubs could learn a lot from. Thanks again

Absolutely appalling childrens starters and what they try to get away serving a piece of garlic bread smaller than a palm of a 2 year old..Are we in the dark ages waiting over 30 minutes for vegetarian sausages to arrive during breakfast, lack of food in serving dishes, dirty plates and lack of during breakfast, and severely disorganized staff to top it off.Better off getting food from sainsburys across the road and better value than the £10 per adult!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, especially if they have additional needsMy wife visited today to meet up with our daughter and the grandchildren for drinks and to use the play area, the staff were rude and told them they were not welcome especially our grand daughter who is autistic, unless they had booked to have a meal. They would not talk or enter into a conversation about it so my family left with out ordering anything. We have used the windmill regularly for a decade and will now no longer use this place and will be warning others.Kid-friendliness: they are not kid or family friendly especially if they have additional needs

Great experience, good value, and exactly what I expect from a pub breakfast.Staff were very helpful with our breakfast buffet, and cooked additional veggie options to accommodate for my partner.

Nothing fancy but a very delicious steak and burger meal. Served nice and hot and steak was cooked perfectly. Staff were extremely pleasant. All smiles and helpful. Welcomed by a very cheerful Louis K and served by Neil A and April. Neil even went to the effort of explaining were the best places to visit are and showed us pictures of what we had missed during the day. Such a nice man. Never been served by such nice staff. A credit to your company.

Better than I could have expected.after reading some rather negative reviews I had to remind myself that some people can never be satisfied and love a moan. We were a family group of 8. 3 generations and rather noisy as we hadn’t had a catch up in a very long while. We all ordered from the festive menu and we were all impressed with the quality of the food. Bar staff and waiting staff were brilliant. A massive shout out to Amos who was superb, nothing was too much trouble ( and we were demanding at times!) a credit to The windmill….. hoorah to Amos and the team. Thank you.

Only in for breakfast as was staying at the Premier Inn attached. Unusually food was a little cold, whether this was because the plate was not warm or if the food had been out too long in not sure. Normally happy with breakfast at Premier Inn locations.
