We had lunch today for nine people in one of the pods in the garden everything about the meal was spot on !!!Good food which was served hotand delicious The Service was excellent ?Nothing was to much trouble for the two lovely girls that served usAbove all you sell my husband’s ale which doesn’t happen too often in pubs ? happy days ..well done it was a very nice lunch thank you

Alright folks I'm gonna be real with you unlike most reviewers who are paid by small man dave I ordered a burger and mid way through eating it I thought it was infested with maggots the thing was still moving it was so raw after eating half of it I was sick to my stomach and while Dave was operating the pub he gave me a menacing look as if he told the people to not cook my burger properly. Also the potato content of the fries was not good and the asorbtion of the seasoning wasnt there. I never did anything towards dave aswell if you are wondering if anything I was overly nice to him but he has always had it out for me since I made a comment about his poundland glasses saying that they werent that efficient compare to the glasses they did over at specsavers. moral of the story dont order from here especially if dave has it out for you. I also provided a picture of dave so you know if you see him you should leave the pub immediately.

Danny the landlord is definitely an true English gent!Booked a function room for an wake, no only was there no charge, Danny opened the pub and hour early for us! Have the room all ready for us!5 stars and many more!ThanksH
