My first visit. The food was fantastic and the staff very attentive, polite and welcoming.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp, which they quickly put out on the way in and we're ready to set up when we left. Very accommodating.

The Heathfield Tavern

Visited Heathfield Tavern for our office Christmas party in December and a birthday party a couple of months prior. I already cannot wait to go back! The food was excellent & the service was fantastic!

Golden Rice Bowl

Every time we get this, it stays hot for ages - so it is never cold when we get home nor do we have to reheat anything.Everything we have had from here has been delicious except from the chicken with broccoli- had a bit of an odd taste.Their duck rolls are a MUST buy. Not only are they HUGE but they are super tasty.We dont go anywhere else because its that good!

Heathes Restaurant

Excellent food and good friendly service. Definitely an asset for Heathfield High Street. The only downside is the building itself which from the front is not very inviting but do walk through the door as it is well worth a visit.

The Swan Inn

The pies are the best, quite possibly the best I've ever had. Took a while to get the food on a couple of occasions however it's a small pub that's popular.

Butchers Hook Cafe

Reasonably priced, tasty food that doesn't come on small plates. The brekki I had wasn't oily, had all the right colours and wasn't overcooked. The bread that accompanied my brekki was thickly sliced so great for mopping up all the leftover juices on my plate. A fab cafè that cooks up a fab roadside English brekki.

The Brewers Arms

Looks an unassuming pub .. The food was fabulous. Great menu lots of choice. 90% food home cooked from scratch, amazingThank you.Vegetarian options: Hallumi burger great

The Half Moon Inn

An impromptu visit to find the nearest local pub after a cold morning!! How lucky were we to stumble across this beautiful pub. Absolutely excellent Sunday roast, 3 different meats to choose from and dessert included for a fabulous price. It was delicious.Sticky Toffee!!! Oh yes … Wowzers. A beautiful fire glowing, great choice of drinks, the staff/ owners were so friendly it was as if we lived in the village itself. Thank you..,

The Runt In Tun

We had a lovely lunch in this friendly, warm and inviting pub. Great welcome and really accommodating and kind staff and delicious roast lunch. Really recommend.

The Fox And Hounds

Lovely place and good food, lunch bite sandwich was a bit disappointing but the salad was great! Really tasty. It was a bit on the pricy side but overall good and nice atmosphere, good deco.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, Onion and Garlic free.

Update:- Mother's Day. They are understandably fully booked, so I sat outside in the Love Shack and had a coffee. Lovely to hear such happy chatter and laughter whilst the staff were getting the dining area prepared for what I imagine will be a very busy afternoon. I hope they will be thanked and appreciated by the diners.If you enjoy tasty, hot, delicious food, served with a smile, this is your place. Beautiful setting and a licensed bar with seating outside. I love their delicious ice cream - palm oil free too. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Cross In Hand Inn

We had lunch today for nine people in one of the pods in the garden everything about the meal was spot on !!!Good food which was served hotand delicious The Service was excellent ?Nothing was to much trouble for the two lovely girls that served usAbove all you sell my husband’s ale which doesn’t happen too often in pubs ? happy days ..well done it was a very nice lunch thank you

The Gun

Took my father in law for a birthday meal last Saturday and had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent but the service stood out the most. Our waitress, Julia, have been more patient and helpful!!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian food!

Cuculo Cheese & Wine

If you want to escape to Italy visiting a traditional deli this is the place! It's clearly run with a traditional style, no flashy gadgets or unnecessary technology. Very rustic and calming atmosphere.The coffee is also the best in town by a long shot!I don't often spam 5 stars, but this place deserves it!

Ordered a kebab for delivery (15mins drive away)Food was cooked and delivered in an hour...delivered hot. Was a lovely meal2 small issues though:- the cheese amount on the cheeseburger could be improved (tiniest slice which didn't fit the size of burger) I suggest adding 2 slices :)- ordered online via the website, stated orders over £30 but it doesn't tell you the delivery charge is included already when you add items to the basket. I suggest the delivery charge is added after the items were added to the basket :)

Bombay Spice

Just had a very delicious meal from Bombay Spice, and on Christmas Day too! We thought everywhere would be closed, but luckily we found Bombay Spice was open! We had an emergency this morning which changed our plans. After a very long day we were really hungry and in need of a warm meal. They delivered quickly and we were very impressed with everything! Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend ! Thank you !!

Taylors Fish Bar

Popped in last night for some chips and the service was lovely, friendly and full of smiles. I didn’t have to wait at all and the chips were delicious and hot. Excellent service. I’ve had fish and chips here from the past and really enjoyed them so been meaning to leave a review for a while. ? recommend ?????

Sapphire Star

I had a take away last night and after reading the reviews just had to leave mine. I order from here about once a month i suppose and have to say that each time the food is lovely and the staff are very friendly. I have the Chicken Dansak with coconut rice, absolutely lovely !!!

Yaw's Kitchen

Yaw’s is hands down the best Chinese in heathfield. We have never had a bad meal from there, the staff are extremely knowledgable, thoughtful and kind. Food is always fresh and piping hot - not to mention absolutely delightful! It’s so easy to stick to the same meal every time but every now and then we venture out and are never disappointed! We would never cheat on Yaw’s!

Heathfield Tandoori

Absolutely brilliant food even been in the restaurant aswell and reasonable prices for 2 people eating even shared a few poppadoms with my girls they very much enjoyed them would definitely recommend if you haven't already tried heathfield tandoori and delivery time was also quick food hot aswell really enjoyed it as did I when I came in for my stag do evening

Curry Inn

Food and service was excellent. The waitor was good natured and joked in with you. I stuffed myself stupid on the yummy food, always a sign that the food was good. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

Volkan Grill

The best kebab I've ever had.The food is amazing, beautiful flavour and the salad is fresh and crisp. Great portion size.The service was really good, the man behind the counter was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

The Star Inn

An absolutely beautiful historic pub, perfect cosy fires in winter and a big beautiful garden for summer. There are some great local walks too, so ideal for a post walk beverage!

Domino's Pizza - Heathfield

By far the best domino’s we have had. Always piping hot food, fresh and quick delivery. I would ignore any negative reviews as we can’t see any faults! Staff are all friendly, delivery driver is always great and they have never missed anything we ordered. They didn’t have an ice cream once but sent an alternative and offered money back if we didn’t want that one. Genuinely can’t find fault here, you know what you’re getting!

Friendly staff over the phone, lovely food that was Fresh and Tasty, and quick delivery! Even made a special mother's day request, could not have asked for any better!
