“The friendliness of the staff especially Shannon and Kevin the chef were exceptional, like you had known them all your life. The food was just amazing. I had the soup of the day and on an exceptional cold day was more than welcome. The chowder was just the best and when the full roast arrived, oh my what a culinary delight. We were stuffed but made room for Xmas pudding!”

“Went for a Sunday roast with two friends and it couldn’t have been better. Fantastic roast, great wine and such friendly staff. Really good with gluten free as well which can be rare with a pub roast, I could even have a Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be back.”

“I have lived over the road nearly ten years but never got around to venturing in to my local bar before. Sunday I had a craving for roast dinner so decided to take a chance and go in. I was lucky they still had a few left ( advance booking recommended) . I had the nut roast with a side of cauliflower cheese and sticky toffee pudding. Food was all well cooked and tasty. Staff were friendly. There was a nice chilled out relaxed vibe going on in the place. I will definitely go back and explore more of the menu.”

“What a wonderful dining experience. This is a beautiful bar & restaurant, small but perfect, with glorious welcoming staff & fabulous decor (those green tiles are magnificent). We sat at the bar & had a birds eye view of the passion these chefs had, in preparing & producing stunning food. We had to choose a few small plates….it was a struggle-we wanted to try everything! The goats cheese churros were extraordinary-dipped in honey-heavenly. In fact, every single mouthful was sheer delight. Thank you so much to all concerned-we will be back!”

“Such lovely staff, really made us feel welcome. Very attentive and great food. Nothing was too much to ask, our roast dinner was delicious and we had our 1 year old she was being rather loud, they all made us feel at ease by smiling and laughing at her. Also had such a lovely customers that came over to us to hello to the baby and let us know that they found her funny. We would definitely come again.
