I'm a big fan of the £10.50 pizza+drink lunch deal, and am wont to drag people along on the slightest pretext. Most recently I visited with my friend Alys, further to our last chazzer shop shift prior to her jetting off to NZ for a while. In attendance also was my dog Lily – and all of us were handsomely catered for. \nThe pizzas, as always, were excellent: Alys had the veggie one, and I had one with pulled pork, at least if I remember correctly; it was lovely, anyway. Moreover, the warm and friendly hostess was pleasingly flexible with regard to drinks; Alys, unenthused by any of the deal options, was cheerfully permitted to have coffee instead (big deal, you might think, but I always appreciate a lack of tight-arsèdness; I still have vivid memories of a Bristolian pasta restaurant where, innocently asking for spaghetti instead of tagliatelle with a particular dish, I was told that the chef didn't like people "mixing stuff up").\nOf all thing most delightful, though, was the welcome extended to Lily: not only was she greeted with biscuits but, without any prompting from us, was provided with a little bowl of chicken breast, so she wouldn't be too jealous of us pizza-eaters!\nI shall be back, with or without canine company.

Amazing, innovative food, attentive service and the best place to enjoy wine and cocktails in Brighton & Hove in my view. I enjoyed another unforgettable lunch with an old friend this weekend (top tip - a late lunch booking at 2pm means you get more time to savour this wonderful place for several hrs before the pre-dinner crowd arrives for aperitivos, and you'll have the full attention of the bar staff who made us our own signature dessert cocktails!). A woman sitting near us said Fourth & Church is better than any Michelin-starred restaurant she'd eaten at in London, but for a fraction of the price. Exactly! Highly recommend.

I’ve lived in Brighton & Hove since 2018, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better takeaway curry than this! I can’t believe I have been sleeping on MADRASI for so long - the food is so fresh and flavoursome, and so reasonably priced for what you get.
I really enjoyed the kadai chicken curry, and my husband’s fish moli curry was so light and refreshing. The pilau rice was spiced perfectly to compliment the dishes, and the pappadums were fabulous. We also ordered onion bhajis - these were a generous size, really fluffy inside, and had a deliciously crispy exterior.
I am now looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person, rather than just taking away - cannot wait to sample more incredible cooking from this hidden gem! ????

The most incredible sushi with a Venezuelan twist! The tacos were beautifully balanced, light and filling, packed with flavour! The gyoza? One of a kind. It’s ran by an amazing family who always welcomes me and my wife or friends with a massive smile on the faces and open arms. In my opinion this is by far the best Italian food I’ve eaten and honestly I’ve worked all around the country and nothing comes close to this. We originally found this place by looking for a takeaway. The pizza was so good, we had to come for more and decided to sit in a couple days later. The food is good quality and tastes unreal. Have been here a few times now and they are so friendly and welcoming. I went today for a birthday lunch with my twin sister, the food was great and the staff sang happy birthday to us and gave us ice cream with a candle in it! They really made our day!

Stumbled across this little gem on a Monday evening, as none of the other Italian restaurants we had planned to visit were open. I am glad they weren't, so that I got to experience this place.
There was a very warm and friendly welcome from the team and the vibe felt industrial/rustic but cosy. We chose to sit at the window so we could watch the world go by.
Food wise, we both opted for pizza. I decided to try one of the specials which involved lemon flavours from Sorrento. It was nice, it was different, it was unusual.
The stand out star of this place however was the tiramisu. It was epic! Make sure you leave enough room or better yet, visit this place just for the tiramisu and of course, a spritz.

Popped in here a couple times just for a drink but booked a Sunday roast and was absolutely banging. Service was great and very welcoming atmosphere. Deffo will be back! Didn’t get the name of the guy with the dark hair and beard behind the bar but he was absolutely lovely and helpful.

I visited the Bali Brasserie restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the experience.
The food was great. We had chicken satay and samosas as starters, and both were very tasty.
For the main course, we tried a lovely Malaysian curry with rice.
They also had a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, which was great.

We had our 50th Birthday party at Jo & Co it was AMAZING! They really couldn’t do enough for us & our guests, made the whole night so enjoyable, from the kind staff, the service, the venue, the drinks selections, price, everything was just perfect! We have been in a few times now for brunch which was delicious and that’s when we decided we wanted to have a party there. It is simply a delight from the beginning of the booking until the end of our meal. All the staff put so much love into their job, even writing an anniversary card was so lovely. I felt a bit nervous as my first dinner was hard to finish after dish number 6, however this time I chose a smaller lunch menu and ate half the bread instead and shared 2 extras and that was more manageable! I loved it so much that I am already considering another meal. I still remember some delicious rasperry sorbet from end of 2019. This time I loved the duck egg, soup, steak, snacks and the dessert, also scallop was lush! Very well done team Etch xxx

Hi on 28th July a friend and I were recommended and treated to visit this Restaurant for a Turkish meal I had never eaten Turkish food but my friend had done so many times actually in Turkey. I found the food was absolutely Wonderful and my friend also did. We must also praise the staff there again they were so genuinely pleased to greet us and really attentive but not to the extent of crowding us, the whole ambiance of the restaurant felt so relaxed and inviting. We both have no hesitation but to recommend the Restaurant for a great Evening out with great tasting food and hospitality Dave & Jean

We had the most wonderful Sunday roast and evening here, as a big group (11 people) we were struggling to find anywhere that would take us but the better half were very happy to accommodate, letting us pre-order food. Gorgeous little Italian restaurant just round the corner from our house. We absolutely love Amici. The food is affordable and really tasty and the service is always incredible. It is a cosy small restaurant with lovely staff and a great atmosphere. The food is always tasty, good sized portions, quick service, always comes out hot. My favourite dish has to be the nduja pasta with mascarpone, it usually varies in spice level depending who is cooking it in the kitchen but it is always delicious. We love coming here for an easy dinner with friends and family. Highly recommend.

I hired out the room upstairs for my 40th birthday and had a fantastic night. Booking was smooth, affordable and it was a perfect space for 30 guests. We were allowed in early to decorate, and brought our own karaoke machine (there is a normal speaker for music). I opted for the £10 per head buffet to cover just 10 heads as a small snack option and it was perfect. Good variety of sandwiches, wings & nachos, and they took the time to plate up vegan and gluten free separately on request. Staff were so friendly, I’d absolutely recommend them!
