Very busy which is no fault of the staff but did not receive part of my order and when I asked about this they advised to wait again in the qué out the door. Felt very chaotic. Vegan sausage bap was nice though.

Really, really disappointing. I thought being owned by Fat Boy Slim this place would be great but the food is poor quality, think cheap sausages cut in half, cheap plastic bread, cheap catering beans, tinned watery mushrooms, undercooked eggs and burger van condiments. Full of screaming kids and staff who announce your order over a very loud tannoy. Thoroughly disappointing, especially when it could be the best cafe for miles with a bit of love and care. Won’t be returning.

Nice location! Had time to go for a swim while waiting for the food. Beef burger was ok, chicken burger not so nice, avo sandwich really not great. Fries were good! Nice atmosphere though and very nice for kids I guess. I would probably head somewhere else for lunch though.

Went to watch the tremendous Choir&ko performing in the hurricane ? Stopped on for a drink and a lovely hot sausage roll, invited to sit at the bar where I had a lovely chat with the barman. Made me feel comfortable as a woman on my own, looking for a little break. Much appreciated, thank you ????

Friendly staff, good outdoor area. I would say the basic items are a bit pricey as I saw a small bottle of water is £1.80 and a single small ice cream which is normally sold on pack of 6 in markets for the price of less than 2 quids is around £2.40. I didn’t eat anything but tried a Coffe and my honest opinion about it is not positive at all.

Wouldn’t recommend with hungry kids. Nice cafe but very slow at times. Which is understandable but would be nice if they could warn you that it’s going to take an hour to make a sandwich! Especially when they brought the kid’s food last. ?

We went to a private birthday party at the café, and everything was great.Atmosphere really good, great staff, and a well stocked bar.

Walked further along the sea front to get some lunch from here but it didn't work out. The staff and service were good, the food was a let down. We had fish and chips, and a crispy chicken burger with cheesy fries. The fish wasn't edible. It was rubbery and tough, so wasn't touched. The chunky chips were okay. The chicken burger was made up of 3 chicken tenders and some salad in a very dry bun. The cheesy fries tasted okay. Our coffees were nice. If you're looking for food, I recommend going elsewhere.
Good people, nice little place by a playground. Food is not bad, but nothing special to go out of your way for. Nothing much else in the area though so I'd return. Note there are two sides to the place, a nicer pub type area near the bar and a very fast food casual area near the coffee and food counter.

Popped in here for a coffee and a bacon bap in the afternoon. Great coffee really tasty food and excellent value. Charging a third less than some venues. Will be back for the big brunch soon!

Very friendly staff and a quick service. They’re serving traditional cafe food but as I’m gluten intolerant and vegetarian there was only a cheese toastie that I could eat. It was really chewy and not very tasty at all but I ate it as I was hungry. They could definitely up their game on the toastie and GF offerings front! Having said that my flat white was brilliant, really lovely coffee! Would love to go back earlier in the day and try their veggie breakfast. My dog was given a lovely sausage which she gives 5 stars for and had a fab splash about in the lagoons outside afterwards.

Saw a sunset but no bird of prey only a seagull, hence losing a Star. The artwork and atmosphere was groovy, ice cream in a cone was very nice, Vegan Sausage bap was good, kids fish finger was good, beer in plastic cup is never good but them the rules, could of done with a quick spruce but it was end of the dayish, bins overflowing outside but that's just rubbish, all in all kids were happy so I am happy ?

Today was a special day, bringing family together. The weather was cold, wet and windy and we were delighted to arrive at the Cafe, open as usual.Andrew and Tara were amazing. They welcomed us and could not do enough, to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They made sure the children were entertained in the kids corner and the boys loved chatting with Andrew. The food was also exceptional and a lovely friendly vibe, throughout was received. We will definitely be back and highly recommend you visiting.Kid-friendliness: Highly recommend, 100% child friendlyParking: There is parking in streets close by, with a 2 minute walk to the cafe which has a park, water play area, a lake and the beach.
