visited here today just after lunch. really nice coffee and food as always but the customer service was terrible. I used to work at a caffè nero on bond street and I still work in service and I know it’s hard and tiring, especially so close to Christmas but the two people that served me today were so rude. One person hardly met my eye and didn’t even say hello. The other person, when I asked if they had any hand sanitiser we could use, just pointed at the bottle with a rude look on their face. Felt disrespected. They weren’t busy either as I waited until after the queue had gone to speak to them. Really disappointed. On another note behind the bar was filthy, coffee grounds everywhere and the barista didn’t prepare the coffee properly.

I love the coffee from Neros its the only coffee outlet that I buy coffee from! The staff are friendly and efficient but there is not enough staff! There is always a queue to order and often tables are left with dirty cups and stuff as the staff are focussing on making coffee for the customers and not keeping the shop clean and tidy! Get more staff Nero's management!!!

Good stop off point for a bit of refreshing and some other things to eat and drink here, nice to have a central location and a good variety of things to have here.

Got a really awful cappuccino days ago, can't finish it. The coffee machine look not clean and everything look messy, i suggest you try Costa cross the street :

Had a mocha - so expensive, tasted weak and was served by a miserable woman.

I used to walk here every Sunday morning for a a coffee. I showed up 2 hours after opening time and there was no life in the shop. There were delivery drivers outside waiting. After trying to get in touch with the website customer complaints they have not got back to me. It has been 3 weeks.

Visited today to buy a coffee, whilst waiting noticed a large bluebottle fly feasting on the sugar on a lemon muffin, that were uncovered in the cabinet. I pointed this out to the barista and said the muffin should be removed, she waived the fly away but didn’t remove the muffin. I repeated it should be put in the bin and not sold. Barista took the muffin out of cabinet and put on a plate behind the counter, ( not in the bin) as I requested.By this time the fly had nestled on a 2nd muffin!Barrister covered the muffins with a tiny cling film not removing the 2nd muffin! Fly still sitting on the counter. Barista continued making coffee.Wonder what happened to the 1st muffin on the plate when I left the store ?2nd muffin still in the cabinet waiting to be sold ?Hygiene obviously not a priority at this branch.

Great selection of add ons to good coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.

All I wanted was a Coffee. Instead I received an education on how NOT to do things. The Staff do not give a dam. The tables are filthy. The Staff leave dirty Plates and Cups on the tables for hours and in doing so do not make it an attractive place to visit. Several tables were dirty when we arrived and later in the day the same rubbish was piled up on the same tables. The chairs and furniture were so dirty they were actually "sticky", I cannot image what hygiene level they apply to the stuff they sell. Crates and empty boxes are stored by the counter, the Toilet is from another planet. People are allowed to walk in buy nothing and use the free wifi, I was astounded by the whole package. Goodness help us _ do they represent Cafe Nero, or as a franchise can they do what they want. I have written to CN Customer Service, did they reply [?] you have two guesses. I am so used to going to France and Italy where the tables are cleared and cleaned as soon as you go to leave. This is done so that everything is ready for the next customer. Unfortunately the standards in the UK do not match those of other countries.
