Really couldn’t fault anything, the staff were friendly, attentive and the food itself was fantastic - it just kept coming! I really couldn’t say my favourite dish, I think maybe the celeriac - it was only at the end of the meal we were told it was an all-vegetarian menu for January, I hadn’t even realised there was no meat it fish in it! I didn’t miss it, the flavours were amazing.

Booked for meal with friends but when we arrived they told us they were only doing vegetarian food for January. They said they had planned to do a meat special but it was too popular so they weren't offering it! Bumped into another group of friends there who had heard in advance that it was vegetarian only and rang up the restaurant. Cincin offered them a meat and fish dish !!! why didn't cincin just email all people booked in to warn in advance. The food was ok, but not worth the very high prices and it was disappointing to have such a restricted menu.

Received a warm welcome (including by other members of staff) upon arrival at Cin Cin Hove, and attended to immediately. The food was delicious, although portion sizes are perhaps a little disappointing, we went for two courses but if you were to go for all the courses on offer it would likely be ample. I have marked three stars because of feeling rushed. We were at our table for less than two hours, unbeknown to us this must be the cut off point. Arriving at 6pm, we were out with friends but left somewhat disappointed due to be told we had ten minutes left to leave whilst we drank our tea after dessert, this was at 7:45pm. We were about 20 minutes away from leaving anyway, but to be asked to leave is the biggest insult possible. Imagine if we had opted for six courses... Whilst I appreciate business needs, it was not our problem and the booking process may do well to improve. Rather than book every table possible and treat customers like a production line, I would be inclined to ensure there were available tables for cross-over eventualities like this, ensuring customer satisfaction. Further, while it is nice to have a member of staff enquire if everything is okay, we were interrupted from conversation with our friends too often. Subtlety is favourable! I do not ever recall being asked to leave a restaurant before, let along a perceived premium establishment, and for that reason I am unlikely to return. After being asked to leave we went to a restaurant a couple of doors down, who were happy to invite us in for further drinks without ordering any food. That's service!

Wonderful meal at CiN CiN, lovely atmosphere, perfect space. Food exceptional. Special mention to the wonderful staff member, Angie, who was incredibly personable and just lovely. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Fantastic restaurant! We went for the Chef’s menu with wine pairing which was excellent. Each course was so tasty and well presented. The staff were brilliant. So attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!

Very tasty food. A good combination of diligent cooking + interesting twists... just enjoyable. Refined but not overdone.Starters were solid, but mains were superb. Had a special, fagottini (pasta) that was particularly lovely. Had a chilled red and a desert wine - both good.Staff are kind too. Thanks guys.

We booked in advance & would recommend as not a big place. So glad we did! Great service from when we entered. Staff were all great! We sat by the window. You can sit outside or a bar type seat where you can see the cooking area. Food was lovely. Seemed very traditional Italian, great produce & simple dishes that shows this off. It is also dog friendly. Highly recommend but definitely book as it gets full quickly!

What a delightful surprise this place was! My son booked it for my birthday treat and I loved everything about it. The food was fantastic (the only place I've EVER liked gnocchi, and that includes Italy) and the vibe was great - both chilled and fun. Strongly recommend and will definitely return when I next visit Brighton.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughters 21st birthday. Francesca was wonderful throughout the night with both chefs (Dominic and Roland) bringing the food to us explaining how the meal was made (excellent choice especially as our daughter is a coeliac). Would highly recommend, wonderful atmosphere great staff and wonderful food.Dietary restrictions: Our daughter is coeliac and the chefs were very knowledgeable of the ingredients and what dishes were alright for her dietary requirements.

Thank you Cin Cin for an amazing evening. We were very fortunate to have been gifted a dining experience as a Christmas present. From the moment we arrived, the team were so welcoming and attentive. We both had the five course chefs menu (one veggie) and accompanying wine flight. The food was absolutely delicious and every plate was beautifully presented. The atmosphere was really lovely and the young, friendly front of house team and the chefs are clearly very passionate about what they do. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Don’t hesitate if you are looking for a really special dining experience.

We dropped in on a Saturday lunchtime and managed to get the two last seats at the bar. The bar is quite tightly packed but a great place to sit and watch the open kitchen and the general mood of the restaurant. Our food was good- quite interesting options on the set lunch menu and the specials board. The portions aren’t large, but the flavours were good. The standout feature was the staff in this restaurant. Without exception they were cheerful, patient, friendly, and really seemed to care about whether the customers were enjoying the food and environment. The dessert from the specials board was milk toffee tart, which I didn’t like because it was chewy and bitter, but although I didn’t complain, the maitre d’ immediately noticed I hadn’t eaten it and removed it from the bill, which was a very nice touch.

We went on a busy Friday night. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. Unfortunately we didn’t get a good table but we did book late, so that is probably on us. My one criticism was I got the aubergine side dish for £6 and it was literally one piece of aubergine. The cost of the other food felt fair in relation to the quality, but that felt a bit cheeky. I would go back again but avoid the sides!
