Exceptional service. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a delicious array of sumptuous food and wine. The selection of cold cuts and Hake was especially good. We had a lot of different drinks hence cost per head, but it was good value!

The venue hosted my birthday celebratory lunch in the private basement dining room.The chef’s six-course menu was a delicious fusion of ingredients, the wine selection was a mixture of well known and less known regions, great for exploring.Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the dishes and offering extensive knowledge when questioning wines.I highly recommend a visit when travelling through East Sussex.Thank you so much for making my celebratory lunch so special and unforgettable.Best wishes Wayne.
