“Very tasty food. A good combination of diligent cooking + interesting twists... just enjoyable. Refined but not overdone.Starters were solid, but mains were superb. Had a special, fagottini (pasta) that was particularly lovely. Had a chilled red and a desert wine - both good.Staff are kind too. Thanks guys.”

“Had a fabulous meal with friends this week. The pizza was fresh with a lovely thin base, pasta was super as was the swordfish. The wine was very good if a little pricey and we shared a tiramisu which was the only low light of the evening. What you must have if you try this establishments is their house special ‘Fancy Mancy’ coffee, delicious!”

We go often with our family and it’s a family business we love supporting because their service is always perfect, such friendly staff and the food is of top notch quality - I usually go for the steak and it has plenty of options for sauces so I try a different one each time and each time or pasta Galileo which I request with tagliatelle and it’s AMAZING100% recommend for anyone, romantic setting and beautiful cozy areaCan’t wait to go back”

“I've had a drink here once or twice before, there is a nice outside terrace. It has lovely quite elegant decor, the staff where friendly and attentive. This time i had a meal with family, lovely and fair value pasta dishes, I would definitely eat there again. It is also in a good position on Church Road, not too far from George Street shops or the seafront.”

“A unique dining experience - mixed unspecified antipasti ordered and followed by a choice of 2 or 3 verbally described pasta dishes. I think there may be a third meat/fish course available, but there was no printed menu or proper explanation from staff.The dishes comes to the table in quick succession, again without explanation, served by the harrassed-looking owner (I'm guessing).Everything was fresh and delicious, with flavours ranging from butternut squash in orange citrus sauce, to pumpkin ravioli in sage butter, and delicate pasta shells with rich Ragu sauce, all washed down with a perfectly decent house white, in a tiny intimate dining space.Overall fantastic food, but I would've enjoyed the experience more if I'd had a clearer idea of what to expect. They could do with a calm, knowledgeable person to wait on the tables really, but even so, I'd definitely go again.Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes on offer are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: We were asked upfront if we had any dietary restrictions or allergies.”

“There's a dearth of places in Brighton to get actual food late at night, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of pizza I can purchase from this place at 23:45! The quality and variety of ingredients is superb, service super chill given how busy they still were at such a late hour. Also given the quality of the pizza the prices were very reasonable. A revelation”

“Absolutely a joy from start to finish. Lovely greeting by staff on arrival, very attentive and helpful. The food was particularly good this time for some reason. We always enjoy it but we did say the pizzas had a certain something extra and the waitress told the chef :-) The Manager said hello and we do wish to commend Megs.
