Great food but not great service. After having yummy fish and chips tried to order ice cream and another pint - would you believe I was sent to another window? The same outlet, the same staff... Finally, having obtained the pint, ice cream not available as machine being refilled, and expressed my dissatisfaction, was told by senior member of staff: just go away! YOU just go away and leave the business you can not manage, MISTER!

Absolutely Love Lexs. Their good is just right, reasonably priced, clean, friendly service, dog friendly and a beautiful sunny spot right on Hove Beach. Stopped by this morning a for a bacon wrap stuffed full with bacon. Yummy. My favourite place ?

This cafe is always my 'go to' when visiting Hove. The best bacon rolls ever, lovely staff and their ice cream is out of this world. Fabulous that you can even get a glass of wine here too.

Absolutely lovely spot to stop along the beachfront. We had a gorgeous ham and cheese panini and the cheese, bacon and cranberry panini. Quick service, friendly staff and high quality ingredients. Will be back!

I love this place. A beach cafe. There are not that many and this one is great. Good fish and chips. I often stop for a beer after a swim. Outdoor only. Good selection of ice cream or food. I rated the food as four star, only because I also go to expensive restaurants in this area (Hove) but actually it is good food. You buy your food at the window and they are friendly and attentive, then they bring it to you. Worth a visit if on Hove beach and hungry or thirsty.
Always go to Lex's Cafe when we can.Lovely food , great service and on the beach too.

Nice location.Prices are high for what it is, paid £5 for a normal and a child’s whippy ice cream (which was dropped by child before he even got to try it in front of the shop), came with no sauces (was offered a flake). Couldn’t see signage for these so I was shocked at the price but they had already been made before price was said.Have had chips before from here which are average exactly how you’d expect them to be.

What a great find! Been coming to Brighton for years, but never stopped here for breakfast….what a mistake!! This will be our first choice going forward. Perfect egg and bacon baps, fresh orange juice, good prices, top location on the beach, and above all fantastic service from the young team…. Nothing was too much trouble, and lots of smiles, keep doing what you do, we’ll be back!
