Libation is the kind of place that gives Hove its reputation as a chilled, trendy place. We had lunch there, and from the smiley greeting to when we left, the whole experience was excellent. The fish and chips were plentiful and well prepared as was the halloumi and chips. Nice selection of wine on offer, and despite being busy, the staff took time to talk me through each! Libation have pretty much got the sunny afternoon lunch experience right!
Really cool bar with a good choice. We've been here a few times including at Christmas when they had the tastiest mulled wine with real cinnamon sticks. Delicious! Some may say it's a bit on the pricey side but I say you get what you pay for. Love this place and definitely recommend it.

Went there for sunday roast having booked on line. Everything was fine, not amazing, but fine. There were only three choices of dessert, all of them not to our choice so we left without dessert, somewhat disappointing.
