Have been here a few times now and they are so friendly and welcoming. I went today for a birthday lunch with my twin sister, the food was great and the staff sang happy birthday to us and gave us ice cream with a candle in it! They really made our day!

We discovered this place recently on friends’ recommendation and have returned regularly. The lovely food and unfailingly warm welcome keeps bringing us back. This is such a nice and cosy local place that you often end up chatting to fellow diners. The main menu offers plenty of good dishes which are supplemented by daily specials to vary the mix. I urge you to try this place for a delightful experience.

I go quite often and wanted to write a review. They’re so good and the food is delicious. I recently had the most stunning Melanzane Parmigiana which is a real treat for vegetarians as so delicious. They also make a particular good Tiramisu! Their pizzas are excellent and all of chefs specials are wonderful.

LIAR! ! Add 10 % service charge on my bill by the owner’s hand write!!!! Strongly suggest you avoid if u’re not Italian. The owner add 10% service charges on my bill by “HAND WRITE “ . My friend and was really shocked as I live in Brighton over 6 yrs that never happen on me before. The menu DIDN’T SHOW they have service charge, so they just ADD 10% service charge it randomly by themselves!! I asked the owner to clarify the bill and he said “ they charged every table 10% compulsory service. BUT I found out they are Lying to my face! Food, service, environment can’t make it up for You guy’s DISGRACEFUL Behaviour !! you were stole money from young poor girl ‘s pocket!! SHAME on You!

Absolutely amazing this traditional Italian cafe/restaurant serves the best food ever great food , great service super owners we have had both lunch and dinner here with a good selection of drinks including wine,beer and Kimbo coffee highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic, vibrant enjoyable vibe, warm and toasty, lovely outside space (can’t wait to visit in summer) the host Giuseppe was delightful and the food… well I felt like I was in Italy divine, a must visit if in the area, I’ll be heading back early next year.

This Italian restaurant is a little gem nestled in a busy pedestrian shopping street It is atmospheric, clean and the food is very well presented. The staff are attentive and very welcoming I highly recommend this restaurant for a light lunch and it’s relaxed ambiance

A really cute restaurant in the presinct of George Street. More of a cafe at the front but a restaurant feel at the back with a good vibe. Just the right music to create a pleasant atmosphere. We had a fresh pizza and a seafood linguine. Both really good. With a glass of wine to make things perfect.

We had lunch at mama mi yesterday and I can honestly say it was the best Italian I’ve had locally. Giuseppe's Italian restaurant is a hidden gem! The moment you step in, you're greeted warmly, and that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. The pasta tasted incredibly fresh, a testament to their dedication. Giuseppe's personal touch is evident in every dish and interaction and the attentive service only adds to the charm.
