Saw many of my friends on social media coming to visit so decided to try it myself. It has lovely decor, good vibes for a restaurant, and friendly staff. However, I did find the wait time to be too long. We were a table of 2 and ordered the hot honey chicken waffles and melty cheese frumpet, but it took ~50 minutes for both dishes to come out together. We found the cheese had almost solidified upon arrival, not that melty, and become greasy.Additionally, the tap water bottle contained a cucumber slice, but the cups provided must not have been washed well because the water tasted like coffee. It was only a Wednesday afternoon after lunch hours and not particularly busy so this was disappointing. I'd like to come back and try the other menu items but feel a bit put off by the wait time.

Yet another place ticked off my list! Wow, amazing place! It really doesn't disappoint. Had a couple of cocktails - Bloody Mary and a Garden on Third, I could quite easily have had several of those! Gin, elderflower liquer, lime & apple juice...summer in a glass! We then had oeuf & surf - sourdough toast with crab & poached eggs and hot honey chicken waffles and a side of hash browns! The HBs were outstanding. The crab was so fresh and tasty. The waffles were huge and the chicken was cooked just right. I am now a big fan of this place! I can't wait to return and hopefully will be served by Dan again - he is the man!! Thank you Oeuf, what an amazing experience. ??

I've wanted to go here for ages, and it didn't disappoint! It's set in a residential street, but the interior is beautiful, and the food is reasonably priced, great variety, and really yummy!! I had the elderflower spritz, which was lovely and refreshing, while my other half enjoyed a cappuccino! The staff were so friendly and efficient! Highly recommend for a brunch date or a girlie date!

A proper little Gem. The decor is very cool and pretry and plenty of space to dine in and even has a little garden at the back they use in good weather. The staff were attentive and lovely. The Menu has different variations to the normal brunch menu of most places and also sell cocktails and a selection of bloody Mary's for all taste budsThe food is delicious and good size servings.I can't wait to go back and sample some more food and cocktails. Also big plus as they are very dog friendly

Came to visit for a 21st birthday brunch on Friday afternoon, have seen and heard a lot about the restaurant and wow, we couldn’t have been more impressed. The service from every member of the team was just lovely, and both the food and drinks divine. Everything tasted so fresh and worked amazingly together. The hot honey chicken waffle and frumpets were definitely our favourites if we had to choose, but also one of the best English breakfasts I’ve ever had too! We cannot stop discussing how much we all enjoyed our visit. So much so we’ve already booked to come back two days later as we want to try the whole menu! Many thanks to all the team at Oeuf!

Love it here! Definitely the best brunch place in Brighton and Hove.Food is always amazing, lovely setting and really good service. Thanks as always, it had been a while (we moved away from the area) but loved being back.

I’ve eaten pretty much most of the menu and I would highly recommend for brunch. The aesthetics are different shades of green and fresh flowers so you can get many Instagrammable snaps! Enjoy.

Had a Full English breakfast here with friends. Service was good with friendly staff, in lovely, clean surroundings. The food was good and well presented, however, you can have a Full English, to the same standard in other eateries, with two of everything, for £7,(as opposed to one in Oeuf), for £14! We found Oeuf drastically overpriced, for reasons stated.

Fantastic food, drinks, was a bit messy when we arrived, there was alot of mess on the floor. I don't want to deter u, as its really a great place, just for the owners, keep an eye on that. There were a couple of forgotten orders too. Again though, Food was fabThey fitted us in last minute. Helpful guy on phone. Go though, worth itXKid-friendliness: Welcomed.

Oeuf is my favourite breakfast/brunch spot in Brighton & Hove. The service is always fantastic, knowledgeable staff and so friendly. Food is amazing, never disappointed. Highly recommend their famous frumpets and plant full English. The interior is beautiful and is always very clean.

I'd heard the hype and am so pleased to say that Oeuf totally lived up to it. The cocktails were exquisite, and the blueberry and lemon pancake stack delicious (portions MORE than generous!), fresh and photogenic ;) I really appreciate is the fact that the tables are generously spaced (see photo from just before it closed for the day) which helps create a casual atmosphere as it is usually fully booked and could otherwise be too loud. Can be hard to get a booking here so book in advance and you won't be disappointed! Will definitely be back :)

Oeuf had been recommended. The the decor and ambiance of the restaurant was first class. Sadly this is where the good times ended. I ordered the eggs benedict with extra sausage. After waiting around 15 minutes the Instagram ready presentation of the meal was first class. The bacon was like pork flavored cardboard. The toast was lukewarm to cold and was like chewing on a flannel. The eggs were hard boiled like something you had on the school outing pack lunch. Also cold. I asked for some extra hollandaise and literally a thimble full was brought to the table. The whole dish was extremely disappointing and did I say cold. The only saving grace was the creamed mushrooms which were steaming hot and absolutely fantastic. It was shared by my friends at the table meal for the same. Seriously though I was very disappointed and frustrated at this meal. In hindsight I should have said something at the time but old friends catching up we had lots to talk about and to create a fast would have been a major distraction. I won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone sadly. Must try harder and not serve cold meals. Very off-putting.

This place is amazing, the staff were so kind and helpful, one waitress even gave her own suncream for our baby. The food was honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten in my life, the chicken waffles are INSANE and so is the lobster French toast crumpets. Drinks were also really tasty and even though they were full it all came out quickly. I am so impressed me and my partner legitimately considered moving to Hove (we are on holiday) hahaKid-friendliness: They have high chairs, a lovely kids menu and we’re very accommodating and helped us get the pram up the stairs and had somewhere to keep it so we didn’t need to pack it down.

Incredible every single time. The frumpets are such a unique thing and so delicious that I can never resist them! The mimosas are also lush. Service is always efficient and friendly. I've been impressed every time without fail!
