Busy. Good value food and drinks. With the app you can order from your table.

Ordered a pint of punk ipa which came flat. I asked the manger to change it for a new one and got nothing but a miserable attitude and back chat. Horrible service from the so called manager. Do not want to see her again

We stayed in Hove for a long weekend and took in a days cricket. This pub located in a shopping street off the main Brighton road. We stayed in a room only accom and used this pub for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our meals and as usual it was good value I note that this is one of the WS premises up for sale and closure

Lovely food, as ever, as I've been to the Brighton one too.Luckily, wasn't over busy & crowded, considering it was coming up to Christmas. I appreciated that, as I could talk to my friend!Friendly accommodating staff there too.

If only some door curtains were fitted then the energy bills could come down and the customer experience improve further.

Fruit and coffee , was just what it said on the tin.... ideal place for cheap breakfast , but expect cheap and cheerful, good staff.Tried the breakfast it was awful.

Admittedly it's not the most salubrious spoons there is, but it's the only one in Hove and it will be a very sad day when it closes. It provides a much needed haven for the real ale drinker and others to enjoy a great selection of very tasty & well kept beers, in relaxed surroundings without it breaking the bank. The food is of reasonable quality and unrivaled value, especially on 'specials day'. I've been going there longer than most of the staff, of which the current team are absolutely wonderful, helpful, friendly and only too pleased to serve & help customers. There has been the odd 'bad apple' over the years but a quick complaint to HO and they've been moved on. They work under difficult circumstances dealing with so many different customers in a professional way, and do a great job of banning those that deserve it, to keep the pub a nice place for everyone to be. The place is almost full every day, so there definitely is a customer demand for a Hove spoons, and going in there feels like everyone is a big happy family.. I'm sure Tim Martin will have good commercial reasons to let this building go, but I do hope that Wetherspoon can find an alternative site in Hove for all of his loyal customers and new ones to return to.

The staff were less friendly like when was there, but the curry was a definite going to have again. It's not spicy, if you take of the chillies, but if you like it with chillies, cool

Rather dingy Wetherspoons, all in one ‘school-hall’ feeling room, although friendly staff and consistent food. Shame it appears to be closing as it’s obviously a favourite for the locals, absolutely packed wherever I’ve visited.

An underwhelming experience as my first choice of beer ran out as it was poured. The barman made me feel daft for asking, then just tapped the card payment machine without a word. The array of tightly packed high tables make lingering in the pub an awkward and uncomfortable experience.Overall I couldn't rank it as a pleasant experience.A cheap pub for cheap people.

Middle tier as far as Wetherspoons go. It's extremely open, and is mostly just a big square room with tables and a bar. It doesn't have any character.

I popped into this pub for a quick drink and it was a tidy wetherspoons better than some I have been in I would go in there again if I was passing

This is by far the best Spoons in Brighton and Hove. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a great manager and I enjoy my experience in there everytime. The only thing that could liven the place up a little would be if music was allowed to be played?! Even if there was a chance to get a license for Fridays and Saturdays! Probably can't but it's just a suggestion :) I think that's the main thing that lacks in any spoons. Other than that, I love this place and will always be a customer!

Service was a little slow, and tables weren't cleared, with staff preferring to hang out around the bar chatting. Single customers were also allowed to take up large six-seater tables, forcing some families to leave due to a lack of space available. The food was hot and prices were cheaper than other places around, but was typical Spoons food. We ended up going elsewhere for a little more flavour and more attentive staff.
