Fantastic festive family lunch, food top class, attentive staff and cosy atmosphere, great attention to detail, and nothing is too much trouble, child and dog friendly, even our four legged friend was given a doggy Christmas dinner.

There we’re four of us that had booked a table (Well five,including our dog) The service was very prompt and professional. I was spoilt for choice with the great range of beer and ales on tap…(I was driving,so only the one) The food was so good,and very filling. So overall.great food,great service and a reasonable price for central Hove. We would definitely go back….

We had our wedding celebration here the weekend just gone, can’t recommend the bar enough for hosting a party!! From start to finish the staff were amazing, Annamari was so helpful right from the start at helping us create our vision for the day. We chose to have a buffet and the food was delicious, all guests commented on how amazing it was. It’s a great atmosphere in the bar with very helpful staff and great food.

We recently had our wedding reception here. From the minute we enquired we were met with warmth and helpfulness. We were won over by the size of the garden and the friendliness of the staff. We booked and from that point the staff (in particular Annamarie) were helpful, thoughtful and literally kept us in the loop of everything. They went above and beyond to make our day stress free and special. We knew from the get go that we wanted a pub reception but this venue can be so much more - if you want something more formal then I know that The Garden Bar would be accommodating and it would be perfect! Even in windy hove we truly had the best day and were treated with such kindness and care. The food was enjoyed by all too. We would recommend this venue to anyone... (we have also been for food and drinks quite a few times over the summer and this too has been lovely)

Assaulted by one of their drunken 'regulars' (according to bar staff) on a Sunday afternoon due to no fault of my own, bare in mind this is a guy twice my size and age, i'm a 29yr old woman. Staff came over 10 minutes later after the altercation and had the audacity to state "after reviewing cctv we know it's not your fault, we'll talk to him". 3 bar staff members watched the whole thing from literally a few feet away and didn't step in.No mention of a ban for a man willing to assault a woman who is simply telling him to calm down and to stop abusing my friend who is even younger and smaller than i am!!

Good food lovely staff, only downside when we wanted to sit inside the football commentary was extremely loud and there wasn't even a game on and there wasn't anybody taking any notice of it, music could be on with the screens on for people to watch, just my preference but does put me off going in.
Lovely time in this pub, with a welcoming feel when you walk in and a lovely spacious outdoor seating area out the back. A little pricey but everywhere else locally is. Generally a very nice time for a drink and a meal

Nice place. I would imagine it's rammed on a sunny day with the large garden at the back. Food is ok basic bar food really. Has a wonderful cocktail list #winning. Lovely atmosphere. Yes I would go again but walk next time and have a cocktail.

First time here and I have to say, this is by far the best roast I’ve had since moving to Brighton 7 years ago … and I’ve had a few! Lovely service and a nice garden area. Highly recommended.
