I was very happy with the accomodation. Quiet, well furnished, comfortable bed, great shower. It was perfect for my stay to attend a party. Great pub too - very much enjoyed our post party drinks.Nearby activities: Very central to Hove with loads of cafes, bars and restaurants. Also a short walk to the seafront and promenade.Walkability: In a quiet back street. Not too far from Hove station and the main Hove roads, and seafront.Food & drinks: The pub menu, which we didn't sample, looked good. Great range of drinks at the bar.

Wow!! Went to The Stirling last night and the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and the service was excellent - there’s always a great vibe in this pub, cocktails were good too ?

10 of us in for Sunday roast and whilst the staff were very busy and things were slightly chaotic, the roast was fantastic when it eventually came out, so I didn’t mind the wait at all. It’s a very popular place for Sunday roast and after sampling the food, I can see why. All the meats and vegetables were great but the Yorkshire pudding has to be singled out for particular praise. Probably the best around. All the staff were friendly and had a laugh with us and I’m certainly looking forward to heading back there soon

Great pub. Good ambience without being busy/noisy mid-week. Interesting food and a good selection of ales.

Went to the Stirling Arms on Feb 20th around 8:30pm.Customer service at the Stirling Arms was beneath subpar. The short, dark-haired woman was astonishingly rude. I was left to feel the contempt she felt for her patrons. I felt she was unequipt to work in a customer facing role. As someone who works in customer service, I would NEVER dream of treating a customer the way I was disrespected by her.It undermined the hardwork of the lovely, courteous blonde girl.I won't be spending my money here again, and I'll make sure others don't either.Consider another pub.

Very nice pub, this. Quick and efficient service on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately I wasn't hungry, but the Sunday roasts looked delicious.
