Just don't bother..... It's closed, despite the food boards being out front.

Had an enjoyable meal and drink in this interesting pub. Staff very friendly and food was hot, substantial and good.

Lovely staff but the food was shockingly bad. I had the steak and my mum had a roast. The roast lamb was gristly, the potatoes were awful and my steak, chios and onion rings with peppercorn sauce tasted of nothing

We were stared at like we had two heads each. No greeting. Place smelled of chipfat that needs replacing. We left and drove on to The Plough s very little way further on.

Stopped off on way back from our holiday.Cosy pub, friendly landlady.Had whitebait, squid, prawn sandwich, and chips. All came with a lovely, proper salad that reminded me of my mum's salad with peppers, radish, celery..lovely!Would definitely recommend.

Delightfully welcoming pub in he traditional style. Harveys kept in top condition, with a sensibly sized pub menu for food.

We thought we would try this pub, so we made a booking and were pleasantly surprised. The pub sits by a beautiful apple orchard on the Udimore ridge. We ordered lamb and the food arrived in good time. The lamb was cut in thin slices and the whole plate was good home cooking. The roast potatoes were nice and crispy! Pudding was included; I was full but my wife had the bread and butter pudding which she enjoyed. All in all great value for money, and a friendly welcome.

Disappointed, looked OK . But felt this pub was not up to scratch, person took ages pouring a pint more head than beer,as kept glass upright while trying to fill from the pump. Locals coming in announcing they feel rough full of ?? Cold Could have been covid for we knew. Barman coughing as well as chef who prepared the food, letting everyone know she was passing her cold to her husband behind the bar. Felt uncomfortable with covid figures going up again these people should not be working or in a place that sells food.Meal OK but nothing special. This pub could be a lot better with improvements as in a prime position on the road.

I came here for a spot of lunch at it was gorgeous. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Both the food and the Service was outstanding. I definitely recommend.
