We've been here several times before and returned for another lovely lunch yesterday. The weather outside was dreadful but once inside it was very welcoming. The mussels were great and there were plenty of other nice sounding specials to choose from. Helpful and attentive staff and a good pint of Harvey's. Will be back again with the family soon.

Eat here most times I am back visiting family in the area. Our most recent visit was typical - extensive menu, large portions, home cooked feel, quaint/historic ambience with open fireplace. Good rotating selection of real ales. A must visit.

Amazing pub for locals and tourists alike... Wonderful food which seems to change seasonally, drinks to suit all palates and such a cool aesthetic! One of my favourite pubs in the area, will continue to return whenever I visit Sussex.

Sunday 17.03.24:Not a local to us but was looking for somewhere to stop along the coast. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast with my wife and daughter. Happy to help with food allergens. Maybe help the staff and get the allergy folder reprinted so it doesn't need to be turned the opposite way around at each page, though it kept me amused. Everyone was really helpful. Lady came out from kitchen to clarify a couple of bits. Lovely service all round. Plenty of parking in the cafe's car park with access up to beach. Not sure if there's a time limit so after meal we just parked along the road to have a walk along the beach.Thank you for giving us a lovely visit. Hope to come again
