We absolutely love The Queen’s Head and it remains one of our favorite spots! We recently visited for a roast dinner, and while the meal was overall very tasty and the atmosphere was lovely as always, we had two small disappointments. Unfortunately, the Yorkshire puddings weren't crispy, and the roast potatoes lacked that usual crunch we look forward to. Everything else was great, so we’ll definitely be back, but we're hoping for a bit more crispiness next time!

Really enjoyed our visit. Delicious great value food by their open fire. Beautiful views over the valley. Lattes were also much appreciated as it was cold. Vegan options yummy, thank you. Special offer menu was on too.

I use this place to hold a regular Home education gathering for home ed children and their parents to socialise.
I am also holding a regular salsa dance class on the last 2 Tuesdays of the month at 7.30pm.
Lovely quirky place to eat and drink. Staff are friendly too.

Wow! What a brilliant stay. It was our anniversary weekend and we were keen to come and stay at the lodge.
The manager checked us in and upgraded our room to one of their beautiful suits. we checked in late and it wasn't an issue. The bed was so comfy. Then in the morning, we had breakfast which was a buffet style spread. Everything was cooked to perfection and lots of variety.
We will be back! Thanks for having us!

Been here a few times. Doesnt have much room inside, but lots of space out, so a bit of a dry weather place.
Good menu covering breakfast and lunch, plus home made cakes and all the expected hot and cold drinks.
Nice location almost on the beach and a good spot to re fuel after a walk.
