Fabulous all round. Perfect spot for a lunch pit stop while on our cycle. Super friendly and helpful service from Robin who also helped us with some tips for our onward route. Good range of drinks to match the top quality food and lovely setting to eat outside in the sunshine. Thank you!

We went for dinner and drinks. Fantastic selection of beers and wines, with excellent local offerings.
Food was brilliant. One of the best burgers I've had, really tender, packed full of flavour and delicious fries.
We also ordered patas bravas which were amazing.
We didn't have the pie but seeing one on another diners plate, I certainly had pie envy so will be trying one for my next visit!

Great pub - cosy in winter with the crackling of the fire, lots of space for the summer and outdoor seating. Lovely that they have sharing boards for the roasts. Thanks Mick, Hilary and Mikita, very friendly as always!

We stopped here for breakfast. The Ultimate breakfast is quite substantial with two sausages, two bacon, two eggs, two hash browns, mushrooms, tomato, beans and toast. Tea or coffee refills. All was well cooked and very tasty. The sausages were a bit too seasoned for our liking. We normally have Cumberland or Lancashire at home but neither of us could eat both sausages.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair accessible tables but hot drinks are upstairs. The server did offer to help.

We went just for a coffee and ended up having a cream tea. The scones were lovely and tasty. We also had a piece of carrot cake and it was a huge slice! We sat in a hut in the garden which was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend visiting.
