Sunday 17.03.24:Not a local to us but was looking for somewhere to stop along the coast. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast with my wife and daughter. Happy to help with food allergens. Maybe help the staff and get the allergy folder reprinted so it doesn't need to be turned the opposite way around at each page, though it kept me amused. Everyone was really helpful. Lady came out from kitchen to clarify a couple of bits. Lovely service all round. Plenty of parking in the cafe's car park with access up to beach. Not sure if there's a time limit so after meal we just parked along the road to have a walk along the beach.Thank you for giving us a lovely visit. Hope to come again

We came here on a very wet Saturday. The toilets were out of order, and being fixed as quickly as possible. Despite this, the staff were welcoming and dealing with the lack of facilities with gritted determination. A lovely soup for me and non-greasy fish and chips for my wife. Service was great, a lovely heap of dogs at every table. A truly great cafe, and what going on a day out in February in England is all about. Our car then decided not to work, so whilst we waited for the AA we had some delicous cakes and coffees. Can't wait to come back again on a sunny day.Parking: limited parking, and they are strict about not leaving the car there to visit the beach so as not to block up the car park for other customers.

Great place to stop in the middle of a 10 mile walk from Fairlight to Rye.

Service is a bit slow and coffee was warm instead of hot and dearer than some places. Nice place to sit out when sunny.

Really disappointed. Ordered a tomato/mozzarella/ pesto toastie. When the waitress came with a panini we enquired several times “sorry is this a toastie? We ordered a tomato/mozzarella toastie” with a reply that a toastie and panini are the same thing and it was the correct item. The waitress told us this several times that they were the same thing, so we had a bite. We then discovered they’d served a pepperoni and cheese panini. As we’re vegetarian, and a pepperoni toastie isn’t even an option on the menu, we alerted the staff. They denied any error and claimed we had ordered a pepperoni toastie (?!).It’s fine to make errors, life happens, but if we’ve tried to clarify with the waitress multiple times whether the correct thing was served then just please apologise and offer a refund. My partner has never eaten pork in his whole life so this is really unacceptable.Vegetarian options: Would not advise vegetarians to go here

Excellent typical cafe food, competitive prices. Easy parking (although somewhat limited when busy), disabled toilet, very dog friendly, clean, bright. Friendly staff and quality food. Some imaginative and varied outdoor seating including pods! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely cake and tea after a walk along the beach.

Honestly had a very disappointing meal here. Staff were very rude spraying air freshener at and around us and my dogs I imagine because my partner smokes and asking about the smell! It really was rude and overkill and we've never experienced anything similar despite visiting thousands of eateries. Food took too long to come considering the cafe was empty and then wait staff didn't even bring it over but just shouted from the door to the garden that it was ready! Honestly would not recommend. I don't really get embarrassed but many would have.

The staff are friendly and polite. I came here with my mum and son. We ordered 3 hot drinks and some food. It was expensive for what we got but I guess it's because of where it is situated. Food took a long time to prepare. It was nice but nothing special. The drinks were nice.

Visited after a blistering windy beach walk, dogs welcomed inside which was nice! All breakfasts were hot and fresh: a couple of small order mistakes quickly rectified and the food was reasonably priced too, would visit
