Lovely food, fabulous building and friendly atmosphere. The landlord is such a friendly nice guy and such a welcoming environment. Definately going back for more scrummy food.
Fantastic Christmas lunch ?Starter was delicious ?Main meal, my wife had the turkey which was great, unfortunately I risked the beef which was very tasty but tough and 1/3 fat, I understand that you didn't grow the beef. I was expecting sliced beef but what I appeared to get was a steak ??Pudding Fantastic ?Service was excellent.

On our way back to Crowborough after a visit to Bedgebury Pinetum to view the lights we stopped in at The Kings Arms in Rotherfied on the way back in the hope of finding something to eat. We were welcomed in, seated quickly and presented with a very good menu. 2 of us chose the game pie (a very generous portion of a well filled pie!) with creamy mash, seasonal veg and super rich gravy. We decided we still had a bit of room for dessert (I had bread & butter pudding with custard). For my friends down south, go there! The landlord and and lady are super friendly and the food was excellent (the rest of the menu and what we could see other people eating looked good too).

I ordered the Chicken Shnitzel. It was beyond tasty ! It was Sublime .. cooked to perfection. Oozing with garlic and butter, tender, succulent chicken and crispy Crumb, a side of new potatoes finished and sautéed in butter with a Mediterranean side salad. I've had it twice now and it was cooked exactly the same both times and equally as delicious both times. This pub is my favourite and the winter menu is on another top level !

Lovely log fire, my haddock was good and I received pleasant service. They have a large and improved garden on the edge of the Millennium Green with an outdoor chessboard and a boules Court and outside loo. On Sunday evenings at 7.30 there is a pub quiz most weeks. A very hospitable place.

There was 4 of us that went for a Roast last Sunday and the beef was grisly and the Roast potatoes were hard (felt like have been cooked for a long while.) We asked for some more potatoes but we couldn’t put our knives or forks in them, they were so hard!We won’t be going back!
We had lunch there today we honestly couldn't fault it. We had leek and potato soup and ciabatta bread,it was the best we had ever tasted. I had liver & bacon with vegetables, my partner had prawn & salmon linguine,& Mum the chicken salad ,potatoes it was delicious. We will definitely be back, staff were friendly ,and we took our dog.Thank you.

Love this pub, lovely staff & owners. Dropped my mobile on the ground in the garden, thought I’d lost it but a young lad handed it in over the bar so I called the pub & collected it the next day....Lovely old pub with great beer garden,
