What a lovely authentic Italian restaurant. We came here whilst staying in rye and the food was absolutely amazing! Staff so friendly and the atmosphere perfect! Loved the rustic feel. Will definitely be returning.

We had dinner here. It was a lovely restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and good service. My pasta was excellent but the tiramisu was a bit soggy. I would happily eat here again but i would have a different dessert.

We were staying at Jeakes House in Rye and needed to find a restaurant for dinner. We took a look online...saw all the good reviews of Simply Italian and walked down. Great , friendly staff; perfectly cooked food and a lively atmosphere. Just the sort of restaurant we love!

Great food and good service from a family run business in a very old and rustic building on the harbourside.It was very busy and obviously popular with locals as well as tourists like us h family of 4.Well priced compared to other more poncy options in Rye centre.

Our favourite place to eat in Rye. Lovely food served by exceptional staff. Maurice who runs it is a star, warm, funny and very professional and Franco the chef is consistently good. Just love their cod dish and seafood spaghetti!

Was looking for a place to eat having spent the day at Camber Sands. Managed to find a table despite it being quite busy, good food, very reasonably priced and Theresa who served us was very friendly and approachable. Would definitely come back when in the area next time.

We came for lunch yesterday and the service, music and overall atmosphere was great. They were very nice and the food was well presented but still simple. The place was nicely decorated, clean etc.Their mushroom tagliatelle was creamy and very light - would recommend, but beware that it is quite a big portion, despite it not looking like it in the photo!Their calzone was also very good, served with a rich, but delicious tomato sauceBoth the dishes were sprinkled with some pepper and/or cheese if you wanted it.We also had some desserts - their homemade tiramisu which melts in your mouth and is simply delicious and their homemade flour less chocolate cake which is warm, very smooth, and delicious too!Then, we had some coffees (espressos) that came with a sweet treat each.

Our second visit during the Summer. We forgot to book this time and the staff kindly found us a table despite being packed out. Very happy with the food and service. We will be back.
