2 High St, RyeWe had lunch. Unfortunately we missed the bunch menu, however, it was very nice. Service was slightly strange: One moment we had many servers asking if we were ready to order. However, when we were ready to pay, everyone disappeared. Despite this, so this was overall fantastic. My only feedback would be that brunch shouldn't end at midday surely, this makes it a breakfast menu. Brunch is until 2 pm (Google concurs!).

8 East St, RyeHoly schmoly all I can say is that the flavours were incredible, even the butter had and incredible lemony and something else flavour. This place and the staff deserve the 5 out of 5 stars. They were highly trained and really knew the menu. In truth for us it was expensive but worth every single penny as I've never had a meal like it. I seriously recommend it. Ohh and the wine we had was rich and oaky a quality Spanish wine.

10 Military Rd, RyeWe had another truly lovely breakfast, and it meant so much to us. Millie and Elio were genuinely warm and kind — nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make us and our dogs feel completely at home.
It’s rare to find places where you feel this welcome, and it really made our morning special. If you’re thinking about somewhere for breakfast, The Globe Inn is an absolute gem and so worth a visit.

6 High St, RyeHad a really lovely meal here yesterday. The food was fresh and full of flavour — I had the sea bass for main and pardon peppers for starter which were gorgeous. Definitely recommend!
The service was lovely and the food felt really good for the price. The whole place had a nice, relaxed atmosphere without feeling too formal and stuffy.

37 The Mint, RyeWe got served by 1 person, who took our order which included extra salt and vinegar on the cod n chips.
However, by the time we got served, another human came and prepared our order, but failed to add any, yes any! Sadly or vinegar.
We wanted extra, but got none at all!!!
That ruined our meal which we had taken back to our accommodation with us.
We had no vinegar there, which is why we asked for extra.
Other than that, the food was quite good. Just needed salt n vinegar.

Webbe's at The Fish Cafe
17 Tower St, RyeFabulous food, couldn't fault it and reasonable priced. Personally I would have like a little more passion from the staff to compliment the food, I.e. fish local or sourced elsewhere etc, it helps personalise the meal. But I definitely would go back and Rye is a gem of old smugglers of Romney Marsh cinque port..

The George Grill
98 High St, RyeWe seated in the main restaurant even with our Service dog. The restaurant was lovely really nice atmosphere music not too loud so we could easily talk.
We had the steak and chips with peppercorn sauce and it was truly lovely. The Service by Dave was brilliant. He made my wife’s birthday really special.
We would go back there again.

56 Cinque Ports St, RyeWithout a doubt, the highlight of our Rye holiday. Superb selection of wines of all varieties (and they actually let you have a taste before committing! Take note, literally everywhere else). The best way to describe the atmosphere is like being invited into your favourite neighbours' front room where it's always Bank Holiday, and all the guests are jolly and just the right amount of tipsy. Dog friendly too!

The, Strand, RyeI can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here, but we went for lovely drinks to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and enjoyed the atmosphere and look of the menu that we stayed for dinner too.
The food was delicious and such a variety to choose, it was hard to pick! Flavours were lovely and we enjoyed the fact you could choose 3 starters for under £20.
Lovely locals and a very friendly vibe, everyone seemed to know each other which is rare these days and comforting. Will return ?

108 High St, RyeSpent a weekend at Hayden's and it was exactly what we needed. The place is beautiful, with a lot of care put into every detail. Felt special without being fussy.
The breakfast alone is worth the trip. Generous, fresh, really well done.
We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Tower St, RyeMust visit for beer lover to try Rye local brewery you can't get anywhere else. Interesting Deco eclectic style which you can purchase items Including the tables & chairs. There is not much food on offer.. they had local scotch egg, pork pie, crisps.. we went late afternoon tried a few pints. My mates like it so much we went back again in the evening after dinner!

35 The Mint, RyeStumbled across Hoof and so pleased we did. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating team with a great food and drink menu. Brilliant to see so many local options from the beer, wine, meat and even the potatoes. Perfectly cooked roast beef, soft and still pink at the perfect temperature. Fresh roasties and veg full of flavour. The pork and lamb starters were lovely and the burgers were excellent quality also. Only reason not 5 stars was that the whitebait could have been a little better, and the roast deserved a slightly more hearty gravy. 100% recommend a visit.

12 Strand, RyeStopped in with the dogs for a cream tea at the Quayside Kitchen in Rye — perfect secluded spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the always horrendously busy High Street coffee spots.
The scone was sublime, seemingly baked that day; the coffee was excellent (some of the cafes in town can be a bit hit and miss!). The staff couldn't have been more accommodating; would most definitely recommend.

33 The Mint, RyeThis is a very small pub located in Rye. It is listed as the oldest running pub in Rye and has a cool history with the local smugglers running goods through tunnels to our hotel The Mermaid Inn.
It was a holiday weekend with great weather so it was very busy and difficult to find seating.

17 Landgate, RyeJust got a takeaway with the family and I have to say that I’ve had my fair share of Chinese takeaways in the past and this place is almost at the top of that list when it comes to the food. The lady behind the counter was a very nice lady with great customer service. If I am ever in Rye again I will definitely visit Happy House again.

30 Wish St, RyeWe visited Rye for the first time in 5 years and stumbled across this little place .I had a brown bread bacon sandwich and my partner had a white bread bacon and sausage sandwich. The bread was lovely and fresh and very light not stodgy at all . There was plenty of filling all cooked to perfection . The price was very reasonable and the staff were very friendly Unfortunately it is only small inside and there wasn't enough tables there are tables outside but it was raining so many people came into the cafe but had to leave as the tables were taken , alot of 4 seater tables were taken up by 2 people I think more 2 seater tables instead of 4 seater would benefit the cafe as more people could be seated . Over all a great little cafe and I would highly recommend it ?

Salts Farm Shop
East Guldeford, RyeLovely cafe with friendly and knowledgeable staff, well stocked shop and garden centre next door. I had the white cheese and salad bap and a pot of tea. A perfect lunch whilst charging my car at one of the 6 Instavolt charging bays. A perfect stop off on a sunny autumn day. I will rerurn again when i am next in the area.

12-14 Ferry Rd, RyeWe ordered a huge Chinese feast from Oriental Delight Rye for a hen party, and it was spot on. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. From crispy spring rolls to rich curries and noodles, everything was fresh and satisfying.
We catered for 10 people and still had plenty left over, all for just £13 per person—unbelievable value for money! The portions were generous, the service was efficient, and the whole experience made our celebration even better. Highly recommend for group events or anyone craving top-notch Chinese takeaway in Rye. Will definitely be ordering again!

The Mint, RyeWe visited for an evening meal whilst staying in Rye. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The chicken and leek pie was delicious and very filling. We didn’t have room for dessert. The drinks were reasonably too. Highly recommended

We really appreciate being welcomed as returning guests.
For the first time, we had Sunday lunch at Harry's. Every course was delicious. Smoked cod's roe, roast beef with all the trimmings and a sublime praline dessert. We couldn't fault it!
Lovely rooms, dog friendly and we love the style of breakfast offered. So much more interesting than 'full english'
