We visited Tatner’s Street Kitchen twice during our holiday as it was THAT good!! Absolutely delicious food, catering for vegans, pescatarians & meat eaters, excellent service & atmosphere. A little gem of a restaurant, dog friendly too, can’t recommend highly enough!

Excellent little place, food was great, best burger I have eaten in a long while. Environment really fun and on trend, good to see so much upcycling in the decor and furniture. Very reasonable priced, would have been nice to have seen a local fish dish on the menu.

Food was absolutely delicious and the environment was lovely and cosy. Great and unique food options and something completely different to what Rye offers. We'll be back for the lamb gyros!

Been here several times and always had a great time - but tonight we got told the fish chowder has been stopped - our favorite!!! We were told the transport costs of the fish has got too expensive, I suggested buying locally in Rye…less transport costs? Probably won’t visit anymore now - this was their best item on the menu!

Brilliant meal and service - catered for 14 of us with short notice and on a busy weekend.Food was incredible and reasonably priced. The beef brisket flatbread and Korean fried chicken were our favourites.

Can’t fault the food one bit. Lamb gyros very nice and full of flavour along with Korean chicken. Lager I had was great with no complaints but the service was awful. Everyone queuing up outside never got told how long the wait was. I wanted to try somewhere else but my wife insisted this place. Got seated out side on a dirty table which I ended up cleaning then the staff forgot about us. Really poor communication

We stayed in Rye 4 nights, ate here on night 1 and both wanted to come back on night 4. Come early to avoid a wait. Relaxed eating, busy and friendly staff, delicious food.

Had both veg/vegan options, but were given the option of non-vegan cheese and bun on the burger as we were veggies not vegan! Vegan chicken pancakes were the best! Never had anything like it and very generous and lots of bits to add. Vegan burger was a little slimy with all the sauce in it, not my fave, in fact my least fave but I always appreciate a place that has more than one option and it was tasty, just super messy to eat. Pimped fries and halloumi fries were amazing! We got scotch bonnet jam, which was fiery!! Peri peri was a little vinegary but nice and Chipotle mayo was nice. Overall, super filling, generous portions and very veggie friendly, at least for 2-3 people, if a larger party of veggies there would be much duplication and not enough variety. Reasonablly priced too, we over ordered and were stuffed at the end but only paid £50 for the privilege!!

We visited Tatner’s twice during our recent holiday in Rye. The food is well prepared, with great flavours and taste. The menu is varied and good value for money. The staff are friendly and take good care of you and provide seating for you. Even if it means larger parties may have to wait longer for a table.

What a hidden gem of a place. Food was awesome, trendy seating area and very friendly staff. We were recommended to visit here from a rival restaurant so that tells you how good it really was. Can’t believe it but probably eaten one of the best burgers ever! Very reasonable prices too!

Absolutely loved our visit - the food was phenomenal and the service was fab. It was also excellent value for money. We had both the beef brisket and the Korean chicken - hard to pick a favourite. I would make a beeline for this place if I am back in Rye. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

We had the stack smoked burger with garlic and rosemary fries and they were unbelievably tasty :) Highly recommended.

WHAT a find in Rye - another place we found on Instagram who really helped us out when our hotel wasn’t serving food for the evening. Great variety of food and flavours - mix of Asian and American flavours. We had pudding too - we loved the Mr Whippy style ice cream but felt that it needed more of a creamy flavour to go with the puddings we had (brownie and cheesecake) and to match the fab quality of food for our mains. We would definitely return! You don’t need to book, but it gets busy - worth coming earlier in the day to guarantee a table. They also do takeaway!
