Just perfect! From the decor, service and most importantly the food, everything is spectacular. The lunch menu is small but so well put together that there is something for everyone! I came in for lunch alone at around 2:30 and was promptly seated after being given a choice of tables, I really appreciated this as do find it a bit daunting eating out on my own. The staff were relaxed and attentive, they made the effort to stop and chat where possible which was lovely! I ordered the Goan Prawn Curry which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, this was washed down with a very crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc, dessert was the Cardamom & Bay Panna Cotta which was divine! To top it off Rosie personally delivered my dessert and stopped to chat! I can’t wait to return to The Fig with my friends and family, thank you for a lovely lunch!

Wonderful lunch in this excellent Rye café. Owned and run by Rosie Furnival who was recently on Master Chef. Walk ins only but we got seated straightaway on Christmas Eve. A small but very interesting lunch menu, my wife had the warm goats cheese salad which she really enjoyed and I had the Halloumi flat bread which had so many layers of flavour, absolutely outstanding and delicious. I also had the lychee fizz, which was fab! 100% recommended to anyone with a zest for flavour & taste

Tasty lunch and good coffee in Rye on New Year’s Day. I had the flat bread and my husband the prawn curry. Dog friendly and good fresh food

I went to The Fig for dinner with my friend. One word- exceptional. We were completely and utterly blown away by the incredible food served in this gorgeous, cosy little gem of a restaurant. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the vibe was spot on- cosy, warm, with a buzzy atmosphere but where we could still hear each other speak. I loved the open kitchen in the middle, where you could see Rosie and her team beavering away making the food and drinks. The small tapas- style plates were utterly delicious. We enjoyed prawn tacos, an artichoke dish (my personal favourite), the aubergine (loved it!), a cauliflower dish, goats cheese with fig and a potato dish. We had the pannacotta and a coffee to finish. All just wow. The flavours were so so good and so different. I just can't wait to return. Many thanks Rosie and your amazing team.

Lovely little restaurant in Rye High Street, serving an excellent range of dishes, not your usual full English but instead, full flavour - excellent value, friendly staff and good for families

We visited Fig for brunch today. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is great. There's something on the menu for all dietary requirements. I had a vegan dish that was new to the menu that morning. It was delicious. My friend had a meat dish and was equally impressed. Highly recommended.

Excellent venue for an evening meal. A good selection of small courses with a variety of flavours. The vibe is predominantly Mediterranean and Middle Eastern with a touch of Mexican. A good wine list too. Pricewise it’s reasonable and with a friendly and helpful team to serve you it’s got to be the place to go!

We had lunch at The Fig in Rye and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The lunch menu has good variety even though the menu is small. The pulled pork tacos were delicious as was the Goan prawn curry. We both enjoyed the warm banana cake dessert. The atmosphere was great and the staff helpful and attentive. Thank you!

The menu is a selection of sharing platters, served as they are cooked. The difficulty is choosing which ones to have as they a look fabulous. We particularly liked the aubergine and the gnocchi dishes. Service is excellent. Book ahead - The Fig is deservedly very popular.

This was to meet our Granddaughter for coffee and a chat. We ordered a Latte, Americano and a Cappuccino, along with two Banana cakes in Maple syrup and one Banana Waffles. We also ordered and extra Americano. Service was good and staff friendly, and the place was busy Total bill came to £48.38. with service.

Prompt service beautiful top quality food delightful staff and the proprieter was around as maitre d'. Portions were modest so plenty of room for the desert. Pricing was right for the quality and out of London. No adverse criticisms
